Dirt 5 Video Reveals Ice Breaker Event Gameplay | Game Rant

Dirt 5 looks set to let players race in a variety of locations in numerous vehicles once again. However, this installment of Dirt will be on the next-generation and with that in mind, many are hoping that the title has even better visuals as well as controls. A video has now been released that illustrates an interesting event and graphics that will intrigue players who are keen to play a racing game with great visuals.

Many players have been intrigued by the specifications for Dirt 5 as it boasts 120 fps on the Xbox Series X. The new video illustrates how pretty the game can be on a circuit that is covered in ice, although some may be concerned that it does not show the stated frame rate in action. Nonetheless, the latest video showcases a stunning circuit that is set in “New York, with classic Ford and Peugeot rally cars battling on the frozen East River” and there are some inspired additions to this already exciting racing premise.

The video showcases three laps of a race as players battle it out on the treacherous ice and it is evident that Dirt 5 is staying true to its rally routes with its gameplay. On top of tackling the difficult terrain, the map also features falling snow, lightning, and the sight of exploding fireworks in the distance. Understandable a lot of fans have been impressed by this circuit and it seems that the game will deliver a compelling driving experience yet again. However, the technical specifications were a point of criticism.

While the level was unique and the like ration on the video is still positive, some noted that the video did not run at the specifications that players had expected. Several comments noted that the video may not be showcasing 60 fps which is half the frame rate that was said to be delivered on Xbox consoles. Technical elements aren’t everything in games and gameplay can sway players, but given that the title has highlighted how it runs on the new Xbox consoles, many hoped to see a more technically advanced video.

Dirt 5 has teased unique cars as well as features and this map once again shows the inventive elements in the game. With that in mind, it will be interesting to see how the final product operates and whether it can match the technical elements that have been advertised before its release.

Dirt 5 will be available on November 6 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, with PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Google Stadia versions also in development.
