Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is just about ready to roll out its September Brilliant Event after a slight delay earlier this month. The mobile AR experience released a surprise Dragon Week event to help fill the gap before the bigger event could kick off, but now things are just about ready. The mobile AR game is playing it safe and continues to optimize all ongoing events for at home play, which means that players should be able to complete the upcoming weeklong event without interacting with other players face-to-face if they don’t want to. The start of the the first half of the current Harry Potter: Wizards Unite Brilliant Event, the Battle for the Department of Mysteries kicks off in just a few days on September 15 and witches and wizards have until September 22 to enjoy all of the bonuses and complete all of the tasks to unlock some new rewards.
This event features some particularly enticing bonuses and rewards, so players shouldn’t waste any time before diving into the action when things unlock on September 15. Part 1 of the Battle for the Department of Mysteries-themed event features plenty of exciting familiar faces from the book and film franchise and sends witches and wizards out into the world with yet another long list of challenges to complete and rewards to claim. The Wizards Unite community has already been tearing through the event code to find tasks and are ready to share all of the details about what needs to be done and, more importantly, what rewards are up for grabs.
The full list and tasks and rewards is now available, which means that players can start properly preparing for what the game has in store for them over the next week. As always, please keep in mind that this list could potentially change as the event progresses, but it seems like this is what’s up for grabs as of right now…

Although the game has been around for a while now, all of these opportunities to earn bonus XP and rank up can still provide plenty of motivation to stay engaged throughout the event. In addition, another opportunity to pick up more valuable Defense Against the Dark Arts Books should get players of any level invested in completing the tasks. Some of the challenges might take a bit of time to complete, but for the most part the tasks are fairly straightforward and soloable. Just make sure you study up for your Great Spell casts.
Part 1 of the Brilliant Event kicks off on September 15 and spans through September 22, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time. If any additional bonuses or rewards are revealed, we’ll be sure to post an update.
