Asus is continuing to stamp its name into the high-end technology game, specifically with gaming in mind. Asus has just revealed the very first router that supports Wi-Fi 6E connections.
The Asus ROG Rapture GT-AXE11000 will be arriving in December. The device is a tri-band gaming router, one that can send and receive signals in 6GHz, making it a great selection for those who want smooth and responsive gameplay.
The Federal Communications Commission okayed the next wave of Wi-Fi connections when it voted in the 6GHz of usage. Asus is the first to take advantage of this be unveiling a new Wi-Fi router, that may go very well with the new Asus GeForce30 graphics cards.
Between a fast Wi-Fi router, a top of the line graphics card, and even an Asus 360Hz Monitor, the Taiwan based electronics company is creating a name for itself. The new router has a next-ten look, to go along with the next-gen tech. The spider styled antennas make it unique, but falls in line with its older models. The Asus ROG Rapture GT-AXE11000 will be available in December, though pricing information has not yet been revealed. But it will most likely cost a pretty penny, as Asus’s Wi-Fi6 router costs over $400.
The Asus ROG Rapture GT-AXE11000, and Wi-Fi6E technology could almost seem like overkill for someone simply needing to surf the web for emails and social media. But when it comes to AR/VR gaming, streaming video games, and playing in online action, the technology opens doors to more possibilities. Even mobile gaming with Wi-Fi and streaming, like using the new Asus ROG 3 Phone, may now be possible with more consistency and quality than ever.
