Borderlands 3: How to Open the Gates to Vaulthalla for Ye Who Enter Achievement

Borderlands 3‘s Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck DLC adds several new achievements to the game, one of which is dubbed Ye Who Enter. In order to earn this trophy players must open the gates to Vaulthalla, and this action centers around the completion of a puzzle. For those fans that may need some assistance arriving at the solution to said puzzle, this guide is here to provide exactly that.

To put things simply, the way to open the gates to Vaulthalla is to shoot all of the yellow switches that are found before, during, and after the final battle with Psychoreaver. In total there are 24 of these yellow switches, which turn green when they are shot, and six of them are located immediately ahead of entering the arena with the boss. More specifically, Borderlands 3 players will find three yellow switches in the room with the crowned skeleton and three in the Lesionhall that follows.

At this point fans can drop down into Psychoreaver’s domain, and there are three more yellow switches to be triggered here. Notably, these switches can be shot before or after engaging with this new Borderlands 3 boss, but they must all be hit ahead of entering the portal that appears when he has been dispatched.

After passing through the portal Borderlands 3 fans will encounter a 60 second timer that begins to countdown after they have hit the first launchpad. There are three more yellow switches to be found past this point, and there is one, which is located underneath a floor panel, that may give players some trouble. As such, fans are advised to reference the video found above, as it should provide full clarity on how to solve this room.

With all three of these yellow switches made green fans will be able to access a room that contains a bevy of chests in this looter shooter. This room also houses the final 12 yellow switches, and indeed they are some of the hardest to find yet. That said, a quick look at the video above should make locating these switches quite easy, and hitting them all will open a gate that leads to a smaller, chest-filled room.

It is at this point that players will have completed the Vaulthalla puzzle and received the Ye Who Enter achievement in Borderlands 3. However, it is worth mentioning that accessing this secret room is not a one time thing, and players can farm those chests ad infinitum by repeating the process detailed here if they wish to.

Borderlands 3 is out now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One. PS5 and Xbox Series X versions are in development.
