Fortnite: All Season 4 Week 5 Challenges | Game Rant

Scheduled to go live this Thursday, September 24, the Fortnite Season 4 Week 5 challenges will give players a chance to earn a ton of XP and make some serious progress on the seasonal Battle Pass. That said, fans need not wait until Thursday to get a look at these new weekly challenges, as full details on the forthcoming Fortnite tasks can be found in what follows.

To note, the challenges featured in this guide have been revealed by way of a datamine, and they should thus not be considered fully confirmed. Indeed it is possible that some of these tasks will be slightly altered before they replace the Fortnite Season 4 Week 4 challenges. However, fans can be fairly confident that this list is very close to what will appear in-game later this week.

  • Destroy Gorgers (0/1) – 50,000 XP
  • Deal damage to opponents at The Authority (0/500) – 25,000 XP

As is customary, many of this week’s challenges simply require Fortnite players to visit named locations and execute specified actions. Among that group of challenges are the ones that send fans to search Chests at Doom’s Domain, to get eliminations at Dirty Docks, and to deal damage to opponents at The Authority, and players should be able to complete those tasks quite easily by referencing the map. That said, there are a couple of Season 4 Week 5 challenges that may call for further explanation.

For this challenge, players must first locate a Stark Robot, and indeed they can be found at Stark Industries or at Quinjet Patrol sites in Fortnite. After encountering one of these robots, fans should simply use their weapons to knock it down and then move close so that they can hack it. Now all a player must do is perform an emote, which will cause the Stark Robot to dance and the challenge to be marked as complete.

The first step for this challenge is to find a Gorger in Fortnite, and the easiest way to do this comes at the very beginning of a match. More specifically, player should remain in the air for as long as possible after deploying from the Battle Bus, and they should be looking for a red column of light to appear below. This red light indicates that a Gorger has appeared at the marked location, and fans should travel to that spot, destroy one of the smaller Gatherers that spawn in the area, and then use its remains to deal big damage to the Gorger.

Fortnite is available now on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions in development.
