The Mandalorian season 2 starts on Oct 30 on Disney+ and fans can build a sharp plastic replica of their favorite cute co-pilot, The Child aka Baby Yoda!
Available for pre-order now, ‘The LEGO Star Wars The Child construction set‘ (to give it its official name) will be released on the same day as the second season of the Star Wars TV spin-off. So while it’s cool that it’s possible to build The Child/Baby Yoda now, it’s not recommended for hugging. Thankfully there’s plenty of softer options available.
Coming in at 1073 pieces, the completed model will stand at 20 cm tall and 21 cm ear to ear and retail for $79.99. Baby Yoda’s ears, head, mouth and hands are adjustable and the set includes a ball for him to hold, a plaque with some background info on ‘The Child’ and an adorable minifigure.
To coincide with the release of The Mandalorian season 2, StarWars.com have announced Mando Mondays starting from Oct 26th. Mando Mondays will be a weekly update on all the various pieces of The Mandolorian merchandise released during the second season, culminating on Dec 21. Fans can expect announcements of “new toys, collectibles, apparel, books, comics, digital content, and more” according to StarWars.com.
The Mandolorian season 2 promises more of what made the first season a massive Emmy winning hit. Breaking Bad and The Boys star Giancarlo Esposito as Moff Gideon will be in hot pursuit of the duo and has spoken about the expanded role Gideon’s signature weapon, the Mandalorian made darksaber, will have this season.
The Lego Star Wars The Child construction set is available to pre-order now for release on Oct 30th via Lego.com and selected retailers.
