Hardcore Fortnite fans currently wrapping up Week 5’s challenges and enjoying the limited-time Birthday Bash event can begin preparing for next week. As the fourth season nears its halfway point, players will be asked to go up against beloved Marvel character like Wolverine while racing around Fortnite‘s map to complete its challenges.
According to a recent leak by Twitter user iFireMonkey, Fortnite Season 4 Week 6’s challenges will go live on Thursday, October 1. However, because Epic Games did not officially release this information, it may not be entirely accurate, especially if the developer alters the missions before they officially launch.
- Search Chests at Weeping Woods (25,000 XP)
- Eliminations at Misty Meadows (25,000 XP)
- Collect Stone from Coral Castle (25,000 XP)
- Consume a Legendary Fish (25,000 XP)
- Consume Foraged Items at Holly Hedges (25,000 XP)
- Ride a Zipline from Retail Row to Steamy Stacks (25,000 XP)
- Deal damage after knocking an opponent back with Black Panther’s Kinetic Shockwave (50,000 XP)
- Deal damage to opponents at Slurpy Swamp (25,000 XP)
Outside of the basic challenges involving collecting resources, or damaging and eliminating opponents at certain locations, players have one more difficult bonus task ahead of them: They must defeat Wolverine in order to unlock a special award. While taking down the famous mutant previously gave players access to Wolverine’s mythic claws, Week 6’s challenge will allow Marvel fans to unlock a Wolverine skin. Considering Logan’s ability to regenerate his 1,000 Health and his shield, Marvel fans may struggle to take the mutant down once they find him in Weeping Woods.
Although Epic Games commemorated MCU star Chadwick Boseman’s death with a new Black Panther monument, Black Panther’s kinetic shockwave is not yet available for squads or solos. Thus, Fortnite players will have to wait until the move is unveiled to understand how difficult this mission will be.
Since Fortnite‘s Chapter 2 launch, fishing has become a gameplay mainstay. Players looking to complete this task can find a fishing rod while foraging and make their way to any body of water on the map. If their catch is orange, it is a legendary fish they will need to finish this mission.
These leaks are teasing a new, unseen move, as well as a classic Marvel skin alongside the usual set of missions. It is clear that Epic Games has a slew of content in store for Fortnite Season 4’s second half, players will just have to wait and see how they come to the game.
Fortnite is available now on Android devices, Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
