Spider-Man Remastered Reveals ‘Amazing’ Suit | Game Rant

Insomniac Games is revealing some potentially exciting new information less than two months before Spider-Man: Miles Morales drops: the new Spidey suit entitled “The Amazing Suit” will be part of the is part of the bundled Spider-Man Remastered game. The release date for Miles Morales is coming up, and it has a lot of content and features that will take up surprisingly little space on the PS5, although that isn’t all Ultimate Edition owners will get.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition will come with some extra content that the standard edition won’t offer, including a voucher code for Spider-Man Remastered. The remaster has taken the 2018 game’s assets and graphics up to the level people expect from 2020 technology and the PS5. In addition to better graphics, players will get access to three new Spider-Suits.

The most hyped-up of the three new Spider-Suits is called the Amazing Suit, and it looks like a darker version of the traditional outfit Spider-Man wears, complete with black lining to make the colors pop even more. The suit’s textures clearly show off the remastering work the dev team did on the Spider-Man graphics, bringing one of the most iconic parts of Spider-Man up to the standard set by other PS5 graphics.

Updates to Spider-Man‘s photo mode will enable players to capture dynamic poses and change the suits if they don’t like how they look in the shot. This will be a great tool for a lot of players who want to create the most striking images possible, so they don’t have to worry about changing the suit while setting up the pose and swinging around in-game. Instead, they can adjust the suit based on how it looks with the background and surrounding elements of the photo.

Spider-Man Remastered comes with ray-tracing, new animations, and a new model for Peter Parker. While some people are going to miss how John Bubniak matched up with Yuri Lowenthal’s voice acting in the original game, it may be an interesting new challenge for players to see Ben Jordan as Peter’s face model in regards to composing shots in photo mode and dressing him up in the various Spider-Suits.

If players want a chance to play Spider-Man Remastered, they’ll have to purchase Spider-Man: Miles Morales: Ultimate Edition, since Sony has confirmed that Spider-Man copies for PS4 won’t get a free upgrade. Ultimate Edition is a $10 price jump from standard, though, so players will have to make that decision for themselves whether that increase is worth it.

Spider-Man Remastered will be available with Spider-Man: Miles Morales: Ultimate Edition November 12th on PS4 and PS5.
