While the video only clocks in at over four minutes long, it does a good job of providing a comprehensive overview of Remothered’s storyFor those who don’t remember the first game, it saw players take on the role of Rosemary Reed as she investigates the mysterious disappearance of Celeste Felton. As the video details, her investigation sees her meet Celeste’s father, Richard Felton, who is far from the sickly man he originally appears to be, stalking Reed through his large home as she looks to find definitive answers on what happened to Celeste.

As players dig deeper into the strange missing person’s case, they start to unravel a web of terrifying secrets, including murderous nuns, twisted experiments, and eerie conspiracies. The trailer does a superb job of showing how the events of the game will lead into the upcoming sequel, highlighting how Rosemary Reed will push forward with her investigation into Celeste’s disappearance while new protagonist Jennifer will tangle with a deadly array of fresh threats. The latter seems to be the bigger focus of Broken Porcelainadding a large new area where danger lurks around every corner.
