Are you looking to outfit your Vault Hunter with all the latest doodads? Are emotes, skins, and heads just not enough to fill your cosmetic void? It’s that reason Gearbox added weapon trinkets to Borderlands 3. Go beyond the standard skins and attach trinkets of your adventures to your various weapons.
That dangling memento will forever remind you of your accomplishments in the hellscape of Pandora. Here we will detail where you can find all of the trinkets so you can look as stylish as ever for the next time you want to team up and take down those Calypso Twins.
9 How To Equip Weapon Trinkets
Weapon trinkets work differently than other cosmetics. Instead of going to the Quick Change Station, weapon trinkets act like weapon skins. If you look in your inventory, you will see small blank boxes next to each of your equipped weapons. Select this box and it will bring up all the weapon trinkets that you currently possess. Then you can equip them to your weapon and begin looking more stylish than ever.
8 Crazy Earl
Crazy Earl used to be the guy you went to whenever you needed new SDU upgrades. You paid with Eridium and then he would rudely yell out you to get out. He makes his return in Borderlands 3 but is obsessed with Eridium even more. He has taken up refuge in the cargo bay of Sanctuary 3 and sells cosmetic items. He will sell you weapon trinkets starting at 50 Eridium and maxing out at 150. He sells the following weapon trinkets: Cloak and Swagger, H Marks the Spot, Jack’s Off, AnarChic, Guardian’s Lament, Catch-A-Ride, Zer0’s Decepti0n, Beast Bowl, Kaboom Bunny, Sign of the Hawk, Ellie’s Power Flower, No You’re Crazy, Super General ClapTrap, Action Axton, Dedication to Capitalism, Hoops and Dream, and Splorghuld the FleshSlayer.
7 World Drop (Main Game)
If you don’t feel like any of the weapon trinkets from Earl’s shop match your style, you can always try your hand at the trinkets that drop randomly throughout the world. These trinkets will drop from any enemy, but will, of course, have a better drop rate on Mayhem Mode.
These can range from common rarity to legendary. The trinkets in this list are: Just in Case, Siren’s Mark, God King’s Bling, Hunter’s Patch, Lil’ Chomper, Frakkin’ Toaster, Adapt and Overcome, Explosives Enthusiast, Itsy Bitsy Rakky Hive, One Shot, Switch Hitter, Track and Destroy, Turtle Up, When in Doubt Chuck it, Who Needs Gods, Born to Kill, and Deadeye Decal.
6 Mission Reward (Main Game)
Mission rewards are another way to get more of the weapon trinkets. These are easier to get because they are a guarantee to obtain upon completion of the mission they are associated with. There are far less that can be obtained this way but might be more your style depending on what you look for in your trinkets. These weapon trinkets are: Stink Eye, Book of the Storm, and Drop It. The missions you must complete for these are Opposition Research, The Impending Storm, and It’s Alive. Rhys’s Piece and Buckle Up are also obtained through mission reward, but they are dependent on which option you choose when talking to Rhys about his mustache.
5 Crew Challenges (Main Game)
The Crimson Radio Crew Challenge offers more weapon trinkets. In case you need a refresher or haven’t played the game, the Crimson Radio Crew Challenges are scattered throughout each world you visit in Borderlands 3. To complete them, you simply have to climb to the top of each tower and cut the broadcast. There are 17 radios in total. For getting them all you will receive the Hat Trick, Earn Your Stripes, and Queen of Hearts weapon trinkets.
4 Handsome Jackpot DLC
Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot brought more cosmetics for fans to enjoy. Those are great, but we are here for weapon trinkets. Included with the Handsome Jackpot DLC were two new weapon trinkets, Nothing Gold Can Stay and Slot Shot. Slot Shot can be found as a drop from the Slotmachine Mimics. Nothing Gold Can Stay is dropped from the final boss, Jackpot. Being a legendary, this weapon trinket may take longer to get, but Jack fans will love it.
3 Guns, Love, and Tentacles DLC
The Tactical Tentacle, Vapor Hoodlum, and Nibblenomicon weapon trinkets were released in the Guns, Love, and Tentacles DLC. Vapor Hoodlum is the easiest to obtain. It came by mail for anyone who purchased the DLC. The other ones may take some time.
Tactical Tentacle is a legendary world drop so it may take some farming to get. The Nibblenomicon is a guaranteed drop from the mission The Nibblenomicon. It is dropped by What Was Once Harriet.
2 Bounty Of Blood DLC
Devil’s Tooth and Battle Driver are obtained from the third DLC, Bounty of Blood. Devil’s Tooth is obtained from the Skin to Win Crew Challenges. To complete these challenges, you need to hunt down the legendary creatures and kill them. It is a lot like the legendary hunts that Sir Hammerlock gives you in the main game. The Battle Driver trinket is obtained from farming the final boss of the DLC Bellik Primis.
1 Krieg And The Fantastic Fustercluck DLC
The final DLC in the season pass, Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck, brought two more weapon trinkets to Vault Hunters everywhere. These weapon trinkets include Divergent Thinking and King’s Knight. These two are the easiest to obtain from any of the DLCs because they are both obtained through mission rewards and automatically placed in your inventory. Divergent Thinking comes from the Inhuman Trials story mission. King’s Knight is obtained from completing the Check, Please side mission.
