Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s Superstore can be a frustrating map as its high ceilings can block missiles, killstreaks, and care packages if players are not careful. As one of the few Modern Warfare maps that take place primarily inside, players need to come up with unique ways to bypass the aerial block and still achieve victory in the map.
One fan has found the perfect spot to make his favorite launcher viable. While launchers that fire forward can easily become a Modern Warfare meta standard in certain situations, the javelin launcher is much pickier. Due to its arch of firing straight up, maps like Superstore can make it a useless item to run in any build.
Still, Reddit user thefizzlee did not give up. Entering into Superstore, the clip navigates to a nearby shelf after climbing and crawling through several crates. Once in position, the roof above should be clear allowing any fired javelin missile to have a direct path up. Zooming in on the scope, players can clearly see to the other side of the map allowing for some sneaky kills from a unique position. Players who fire a missile from this point will have a high chance of impacting the first door that the enemy team goes through when spawning on this map.
This is a rather unknown spot making it perfect for players looking for quick kills. Many fans believe that this could work well in Search and Destroy modes as it quickly eliminates enemy players before they encounter any opposition
While a majority of the community is thankful for being shown this unique spot, players agree that firing the missile is a dirty trick. It can quickly cause anger among the enemy team as the rocket comes from above and is difficult to dodge unless they know its coming.
The Reddit post author did discover this after spending time on their Damascus grind. By using this trick, they were able to breeze through the javelin missile’s kills and move on to other weapons. This latest trick may prove beneficial for others attempting to earn the weapon camo and represents another discovery by the Call of Duty community who already have already proven to be quite adept at finding new tips and tricks since the game launched last year.
As this skill gets picked up by players, there will be a limited time to employ it. Popularity will likely cause it to appear more often and enemies will change their route as a way of adapting to the unexpected execution that this rocket can bring.
