Although Marvel superheroes, weapons, and locations have been populating the Fortnite map for all of Season 4, many of them remain untouched by official quests and events. This week’s set of challenges finally features Tony Stark’s secret lake house lab, which some players have probably already explored.
Season 4 of Fortnite has been notable for many reasons, but one of the most prominent visual distinctions has been the arrival of large new areas across the game’s map. These sudden land masses are actually pieces of the Marvel universe, and allow players to explore unique sites, including Tony Stark’s laboratories.
The Season 4 Week 7 challenges require Fortnite players to venture to one of these Marvel sites and uncover one of Iron Man’s secret labs. Players will have to find their ways to the giant chunk of land that hosts Stark Industries and a large lake. The area in question is situated around quadrant 3F on the map.
Once there, players can use Stark Industries as a reference point and work their way over to Stark’s lake house. The cabin is found just northeast of Stark Industries, directly next to a lake. For those just looking to knock out the challenge as soon as possible, it’s as simple as entering the lakeside property and breaking through the floors, as Tony Stark’s hidden lake house lab is in the basement.
That being said, Iron Man’s secret lab does have a secret entrance, too. Players can track down this entrance and break into Stark’s lab the honest way, but do note there is no added bonus for entering the lab through its actual entrance. Stark himself isn’t even in the lab, so players hoping to make Wolverine fight Iron Man, or take him on themselves, should look elsewhere.
To find the secret door, players should look for a dirt path/driveway leading up to the lake house. Instead of leading into the house, or a garage, the path leads players to a bunch of dubious bushes alongside the house’s wall. The lab’s entrance is hidden behind these bushes.
Although the garage door features a unique electric effect whenever it’s damaged, it will break just like any other garage door in Fortnite. Once past the lightly-armored wall, players can step right into Tony Stark’s work-from-home lab and start digging through his forgotten treasure chests and building supplies. On the way out, players working on their fish collections can also take advantage of the giant lake and find some Legendaries, but that may be a lot to do in a single round of the game.
