ESPN Working on Fall Guys TimtheTatman Documentary | Game Rant

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout has quickly become one of the sensations of the gaming world this year, bringing in millions of players on Steam and PlayStation. The battle royale party game has been a hit on Twitch, with streamers fighting to win crowns and competing in monetized competitions, such as Twitch Rivals. But one of the biggest Fall Guys moments to date is TimTheTatman’s first win.

TimTheTatman was an early adopter of Fall Guys when it first launched in August, but was quickly mocked for his inability to win crowns where many of his fellow streamers were raking in wins. The Fall Guys official Twitter account even jumped on board to poke fun at the streamer, but this all led to a surge in popularity for TimTheTatman as many viewers anxiously awaited his first crown. When the inevitable win did happen, TimTheTatman had over 300,000 viewers watching his livestream, and he won the approval of many fellow streamers and the devs at Fall Guys.

TimTheTatman’s success has captured the attention of sports network ESPN, which has announced a documentary focusing on his Fall Guys journey. The documentary is titled ‘Fall Guys: The Saga Continues. A TimTheTatman story’ and ESPN has revealed an official trailer for the film on its esports Twitter page. Along with the man himself, Oliver Hindle, the Fall Guys community manager, and streamer GrandPooBear also appear in the trailer, so it looks like ESPN will be bringing on plenty of familiar faces to tell TimTheTatman’s story. The documentary doesn’t have an official release date yet but is listed as ‘coming soon.’

TimTheTatman’s crown win is up there as one of the biggest moments in Fall Guys history, so it makes sense for ESPN to delve deeper into the streamer’s journey to success. TimTheTatman had plenty of failures on his way to the win, which were the focus of many hilarious clips from his streams. His attempts to win a crown got the attention of many stream snipers who constantly thwarted his chances at winning, and it took a squad on his side to help him get to the final round. When TimTheTatman finally won his crown on Hex-a-gone, it was a moment to behold. ESPN will likely get plenty of viewers who are hoping to see TimTheTatman’s exciting journey from the start.

Fall Guys has managed to continue its popularity with the recent release of its medieval themed season two, which introduced four new rounds to the game. Whether this documentary will include any new footage of TimTheTatman’s games or will just be a retrospective isn’t confirmed at the moment, but it would be fun to see the streamer win another crown in the new season.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is available now on PC and PS4.
