Players of the free-to-play open world RPG Genshin Impact have been treated to several news updates lately. Most recently, developer miHoYo released a roadmap detailing what players can expect from updates 1.1 through 1.3 as well as their anticipated release dates. While many players would have likely been satisfied with this news alone, miHoYo has now provided new details on some quality of life changes coming as early as the 1.1 update on November 11.
Shortly after releasing Genshin Impact‘s short term roadmap on its website, miHoYo created another post with detailing plans for changes to make the overall user experience more enjoyable. However with the original post being primarily comprised of images in Chinese, some players have had a difficult time translating the post. Thankfully Twitter user Kurayami_11 was kind enough to translate the entire post into Japanese, allowing many other Genshin Impact players to understand what they can expect in version 1.1.
As of update 1.1, players will no longer have to worry about their equipped Artifacts and weapons accidentally being used when leveling up other items as they will be locked to the character. Another major improvement in this update will be a detector when searching for nearby Anemoculus and Geoculus, making it easier to upgrade the Statues of the Seven.
Those aren’t the only quality of life improvements players can expect in the Genshin Impact 1.1 update. According to the post, players will no longer have to worry about excess experience when leveling up their weapons, as any experience that is more than the max level will be refunded to the player as various ores. Players will also have access to an encyclopedia of items with every material’s description and how to obtain them.
The post also indicates that a multiplayer event will be coming to the game soon, with some players speculating that it could be similar to the Ignite the Elemental Crucible event that was held during the beta. Like with regular co-op in Genshin Impact, players will likely need to reach a minimum Adventure Rank of 16 in order to participate in this event, with some theorizing that players may need to achieve a higher rank than that. However, this information remains unknown at this time.
While this post is only meant to update players on new features and changes that are coming to the game, it is slightly surprising that there are no mentions of bug fixes in the post. Genshin Impact players have encountered a multitude of bugs and glitches in their short experience in Teyvat, which could be seen as a small hiccup in an otherwise great game. It seems like players will have to wait until official patch notes release when version 1.1 hits Genshin Impact on November 11.
Genshin Impact is available now on PC, PS4, and mobile devices.
