With the 2020 League of Legends World Championship in full swing, fans have been busy watching the best teams compete against each other while participating in this year’s associated Worlds event. However, now the virtual K-pop group K/DA is finally joining the festivities after briefly teasing a new song two months ago.
When K/DA posted their latest single, “THE BADDEST,” in August, players realized the band would be returning to perform again at this year’s tournament. In the weeks that followed, however, the game’s new champion Seraphine also became associated with K/DA through her POP/STARS cover, and then through in-universe comics where she was invited to collaborate with the group. Finally, a new teaser dropped earlier today confirming everything about K/DA’s comeback, which will come with an enormous event.
The latest video posted by League of Legends, shows the original K/DA members are getting a brand new epic skin to go along with their appearances. Seraphine’s K/DA skin looks to be ultimate tier since there are three models that it will presumably transform between in-game: Seraphine Indie, Seraphine Rising Star, and Seraphine Superstar. The ALL OUT: Comeback event won’t just be limited to League of Legends, since Legends of Runeterra and Teamfight Tactics are also getting K/DA cosmetics.
While players should not expect these skins and content to release within the next few days, everything will likely drop before Worlds Final in just under three weeks. Considering the Shanghai venue will have a live audience, it’s likely K/DA will have another concert similar to their 2018 debut.
League of Legends is available now on PC.
