The Valberry is a rare item in Genshin Impact found in the wild, but players will need to acquire it in order to ascend two characters in the game. Here’s an exact location where players can several Valberries.
Developer MiHoYo added many unique elements to Genshin Impact when developing the game, though it’s hardly the first game of this genre that the Shanghai-based studio has created. Though it is an open-world action-adventure RPG, the game plays much like MMORPG in terms of its slew of unlockable achievements and awards. The world also features cooldowns for Domains and bosses as well as spawns for important items, and some rare items are needed for the unique Character Ascension element of Genshin Impact.
Once capping out at level 20 and reaching Adventure Rank 15, the characters will no longer be able to level up normally and will need to be Ascended. To do this, the player will need to acquire certain rare materials such as Diamond Slivers and Broken Masks. Some materials, such as the latter, can be found in the wild or dropped by enemies. For example, the Valberry is a rare food item found mainly in the wild of the Stormbearer Mountains and three will be required to Ascend Lisa and Noelle each.
The easiest location to find Valberries in Genshin Impact is on Stormbearer Mountain and particularly Stormbearer Point on the northern end of the currently available Teyvat map. The player will need to find at least six Valberries to Ascend both Lisa and Noelle, and there’s an easy trick to locate several. First, head to where the “S” in “Stormbearer Point” lands on the map. A bush of four Valberries should be very close by.
Heading to the east, stop where the “m” in “Stormbearer” falls on the map, and next to a tree on a small cliff is another bush of four Valberries. If more Valberries are needed for any reason, head further to the east where the first “e” in Stormbearer lands and another bush can be found nearby in the grass. Alternatively, if players find a young traveling girl named Chloris wandering around Mondstadt near Windrise, she can sell the player up to five Valberries for 1,000 Mora each.
Lisa is an Electro mage given to the player early on in the main story campaign, but Noelle is a Geo wielder of a Claymore and can only be acquired through the Beginner’s Wish banner. However, the gacha game guarantees that spending ten wishes will grant her as the promised four-star character shown on the banner. Lucky for players, Genshin Impact will offer a number of free Intertwined and Acquaint Fates to spend early on, so gamers looking to play through Genshin completely for free should consider easily adding Noelle to their party.
Genshin Impact is out now for mobile devices, PC, and PS4 with a Nintendo Switch version on the way.
