Pokemon GO is partnering with GrubHub to bring a special event where Unown G and Unown H will be available to catch. Variations of Unown are difficult to come by in Pokemon GO, so fans of the game will want to consider participating in this event.
Pokemon GO has plenty of events happening in the upcoming weeks. Pokemon GO is no stranger to partnering with large brands for their events either and this is no different. GrubHub will officially partner with Pokemon GO for an event coming in early November. However, this GrubHub event is more closed off than most events in Pokemon GO.
Joining the event is simple. To join, users of the app must sign up with GrubHub+ to participate. Existing users of GrubHub+ already qualify for the event. Signing up with GrubHub+ will net players a ticket to participate in the upcoming event. On top of that, new GrubHub+ users will get a 14-day free trial for GrubHub+. Players can sign up for the event until October 28 and only players in the United States can participate. Tickets for the event will then be released on November 4 and the actual event will take place on November 8 from 11am to 2pm local time.
Signing up for this upcoming event may be worth it for Pokemon GO players. This event will give players the opportunity to catch Unown G and Unown H. Unown is a rare Pokemon to catch in the game and there are not many opportunities to catch them or their different forms. This is a great opportunity for people who missed getting either the G or H forms of Unown, but there will not be any other forms of Unown available during the event. And although Shiny Unown will not be available, Shiny Ferroseed will be.
Ultimately, this is a small event with not as much to offer compared to something like the Team Rocket events or the Halloween events. There will also be lower than normal participation due to the necessity of signing up for GrubHub+.
But the opportunity to catch Unown G and H and Shiny Ferroseed could help trainers trade them for Pokemon they need to complete their Pokedex. There are also increased chances to catch Bulbasaur, Charizard, Squirtle, Pikachu, Sableye, Patrat, and Minccino with a use of an Incense. For players who want to complete their Pokedex, they should consider joining the GrubHub Pokemon GO event.
