New CyberPunk 2077, Ghost of Tsushima Video Game Figures Coming Soon

Figure, statue, and toy hunters have delighted at all of the reveals coming out of the WonHobby Gallery 2020 Virtual Exhibition. Companies including Max Factory, Fine Clover, Kadokawa, and threezero shared an assortment of awesome upcoming collectibles. Video game fans will be particularly excited for Good Smile Company‘s showing,  though. The figure manufacturer showed off early versions of its planned Cyberpunk 2077, Ghost of Tsushima, Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, and more gaming figures.

The Cyberpunk 2077 figure is of the male version of the open-world game’s protagonist, V. V’s got their standard gear on, as shown in many of Cyberpunk 2077‘s trailers, including a high-collar jacket and relatively normal pants and sneakers. What’s impressive about the figure is its points of articulation. Ankles, knees, thighs, waist, stomach, neck, shoulders, elbows, and wrist joints can all be adjusted, so buyers can pose V as they like. Funnily enough, McFarlane Toys has advertised a similar figure for V in the exact same clothing.

The Ghost figure for Ghost of Tsushima is even more impressive. Not only does Ghost have a similar number of points of articulation, but the detailing of his clothing is much finer. Ghost has the samurai gear he’s often shown wearing in trailers, complete with his signature mask. The individual armor plates on his arm can be seen, as can all the detail work in his multiple swords. He even has what looks like a cloth cape.

As should be clear, both the Cyberpunk 2077 and the Ghost of Tsushima figures are in the prototype stage. Both figures are likely near finalization in terms of form, but they’ll receive their painting in the months to come. Both figures are tentatively planned for release in autumn 2020, though no pricing information for either figure is available as of yet.

Good Smile has a variety of other figures to show off, too, but instead of the larger Figma-sized figures, these are smaller chibi versions of their characters. The Nendoroid figures being shown include Kingdom Hearts 2‘s Sora, Bayonetta, Crash Bandicoot from Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, Doom Eternal‘s Doom Slayer, and even Mary from Pokemon Sword and Shield.

Nendoroid prices tend to be between $40 and $50, while the larger Figma figures can range anywhere from $50 to $200. Exact pricing for the Cyberpunk 2077 and Ghost of Tsushima Figmas is currently unknown, so fans will have to wait to find out just what Good Smile Company will charge. The previously revealed Johnny Silverhand figure will be just $40, though that’s from Good Smile‘s much more affordable Pop-Up Parade line of figures. Expect more information in the weeks and months to come.
