October is flying by and Harry Potter: Wizards Unite players have had a marathon of events to tackle. In addition to all of the usual schedule events and the makeup September Community Day, there is not the second half of the Darkness Rising Brilliant Event for mobile AR fans to dive into next week.
The second half of this month’s Brilliant Event continues to shine a spotlight on the dark side of the wizarding world and offers witches and wizards another opportunity to stock up on some exciting Defense Against the Dark Arts books as rewards for completing the full list of tasks during this Harry Potter: Wizards Unite event.
The other events this month have definitely helped prove that there is no shortage of interest in the dark side of magic in the Harry Potter universe and players can explore even more Dark Arts lore and Foundables starting on October 20. There will only be one week to work through these tasks and take advantage of all of the available bonuses, so players will need to get right to work.
The full list and tasks and rewards is now available ahead of the event’s launch, which means that players can already begin preparing for what the mobile AR experience has in store for them over the next week. As always, please keep in mind that this list could change as the event progresses, but it seems like this is what’s up for grabs as of right now…

Although the game has been around for quite a while at this point, all of these opportunities to earn bonus XP and rank up can still offer some motivation for players to log and and stay engaged this coming week. The grind to max level is incredibly long and many players could still use any extra XP available. In addition, another opportunity to pick up the valuable Defense Against the Dark Arts Books should get just about any player interested in the tasks at hand.
Some of the new Brilliant Event challenges might take a bit of time to complete, but for the most part the tasks are fairly straightforward and soloable. Just make sure you study up for your Great Spell casts.
Part 2 of the Darkness Rising Brilliant Event kicks off on October 20 and spans through October 27, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
