The Sims 4 Builds to Play In Before Snowy Escape’s Release

The Sims 4: Snowy Escape will be available on November 13, but for some players, that feels like it’s a lifetime away. Many may be excited to get their hands on many of the Japanese-inspired details recently teased. Luckily, other players of The Sims 4  have been building Japanese-inspired lots for quite some time. While it may not be the snowy paradise that players are looking forward to, these builds are unique and beautifully crafted and will surely add exciting gameplay to any save file.

These lots are a mix of residential and community styles, so players can choose to play with one of their existing families or make a brand new one for the occasion. All but one of these lots were placed in Newcrest which led to a very nice Japanese-inspired neighborhood, similar to Mt. Komorebi in Snowy Escape. Players are welcome to mix and match these builds, of course, and place them in whatever neighborhood they think is the best fit for their own game.

Made by simlaure, this Japanese-inspired restaurant is the perfect place for players to take their Sims out on a romantic date. There’s a nice mixture of indoor and outdoor seating, and the restaurant seems to be built on top of a pond. It’s got a very serene atmosphere and even has a VIP room for Sims that want more privacy for their date.

This build has no Custom Content and does not require the Move Objects cheat to place successfully. To enjoy all aspects of this build, players will need the Get Together and Get to Work expansion packs, coupled with the Dine Out game pack.

This build by SimsOnlineCom is made entirely from base game items, so players don’t have to worry about needing extra packs to play in this home. The price for this house is 17,227 simoleons, right in budget for a family just starting out. With one bedroom and one bathroom, this is the perfect home for a single Sim or a newly married couple.

The Japanese Starter House has no Custom Content and does not require Move Objects to place.

This community lot is categorized as a karaoke bar, but took on the common Sims challenge of offering so much more! Created by MainSheepHerder, this build is a karaoke bar, arcade, and game hangout all in one. It’s even got the “Sunny Aspect,” “Great Acoustics,” and “Party Place” lot traits.

While this lot doesn’t require Custom Content or Move Objects to be enabled during placement, it’s far from a base game only build. It’s got a variety of items from many different expansion, game, and stuff packs, so it’s best for players to make sure they’ve got all of them before placing this lot.

This insanely beautiful home built by Kuujho would be a good fit for Sims with a bit of money already saved up, or for players who use the Motherlode cheat to get as many funds as they need. Retailing at 36,597 simoleons, this one bedroom, one bathroom home is sure to make an excellent addition to players’ neighborhoods.

Though this build uses rugs to make a custom, mat-like pattern for the bedroom, it’s a base game only build. It also requires no Custom Content and no Move Objects to get this beautiful Sims 4 home.

This community lot is the perfect destination for Sims that want an outdoor wedding. While this lot does not require any Custom Content, the Move Objects cheat must be ON when placing. This will make sure everything is placed correctly in the world. This entire build is base game only, though, so it makes up for the hassle of keeping Move Objects on.

Built by korta11 with a cute “bridge” over a pond and custom-placed paper lanterns in the trees, this lot oozes romance. Categorized as a National Park, this lot is also equipped with a piano for live music and a bar for all its patrons.

Though players are less than a month away from being able to play with Snowy Escape, these Japanese-inspired builds are sure to please players until the tenth expansion pack’s release.

The Sims 4: Snowy Escape is available for pre-order now, and will be available on November 13 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
