A new glitch is affecting Call of Duty: Warzone lobbies and preventing players from playing the game, creating an immediate block for players trying to enter Warzone. So far there is no solution for the bug, but players are finding their own ways to bypass the problem.
Call of Duty: Warzone has a reputation for bugs, glitches, and problems. Despite its immense popularity, the many issues are something that fans have learned to live with. A new problem, however, causes the game to break entirely, as it completely blacks out the screen, and the only known solution is to simply quit the match.
The clip was posted by Starcinarvin69, and it shows the beginning of the match where players parachute into Call of Duty: Warzone. Everything is normal except for their screen being completely black. When they open their map, things return to normal, but every time the player closes out from the map, the game returns to a solid black screen. This makes it impossible to play the game, despite the model still moving and being controlled.
Other players in the comments claim to have the same issue. Many players report that the issues do not stop until they leave the match entirely. One player in the comments did manage to find an ATV in Warzone and realized that while in the ATV, they could see everything clearly. They spent the rest of the match as a taxi, transporting their friends around the game and trying to stay involved. While this does bypass the issue, it is not the type of game that players expected to have when booting up a shooter.
It is unknown what causes this glitch to manifest. One thing fans are sure of is that it is not isolated to a single game mode. This glitch will manifest in the early part of any match, only to disappear when the player leaves the game. While this is not a major bug for many, it can become very inconvenient to have to back out every other game due to a broken part of Warzone.
While fans are trying to take the new glitch in good fun, there are still many issues to be resolved within Warzone. From weapons being misaligned to players wielding unlimited tactical, players are finding more for Infinity Ward to fix almost every day. Hopefully, the developers can get ahead of these problems.
Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, Ps4, and Xbox One.
