Dead by Daylight Mobile Adds Silent Hill Content | Game Rant

Hitting earlier this May, fans of Dead by Daylight on PC and consoles have likely already gotten stuck into the game’s Silent Hill expansion. Bringing a brave new survivor and a horrifying killer to the game, it was remarkably well received, marking the first video game collaboration to make its way to the popular asymmetric multiplayer horror experience.

Following its success on PC and consoles, the pack is set to hit Dead by Daylight Mobile today, meaning the vast player base currently enjoying the game on portable devices can get their hands on it just in time for Halloween. The pack brings with it the same additions as in the original expansion, including both Cheryl Mason as a survivor and the terrifying Pyramid Head as a killer.

The latter is likely what players are most excited for, with Pyramid Head still ranking among some of the most terrifying video game antagonists ever put to screen. Much like his counterpart in the PC and console version of the game, Pyramid Head has a number of powerful abilities he can use to dispatch survivors. One sees him drive his lumbering sword into the ground and unleash a ranged attack that hits any survivors directly in front of him, while he can also condemn players to cages instead of using hooks. He’s been deemed a pretty effective killer on other versions of the game, so mobile players are sure to find a lot of fun ways to play the character.

Cheryl Mason is also an effective survivor, featuring the Soul guard, Blood Pact, and Repressed Alliance perks. For those who don’t know the character’s story within Silent Hill, she’s one of the main recurring heroes in the series, debuting in the first game and eventually starring as the protagonist of Silent Hill 3. Standing as one of the series’ most notable human characters, she’s an excellent fit for the Dead by Daylight world, with a wealth of experience fighting horrifying monsters.

The release of Silent Hill into Dead by Daylight’s mobile port marks the beginning of the game’s Hallowed Festival, which will run until the end of November. The festival’s first event, The Blood Feast, is set to debut on October 29 and will run until November 1, offering players triple XP and blood points during games. Players can also find Trick or Treat Bags in the Bloodmarket, which will provide fun Halloween cosmetics and other Dead by Daylight goodies. A new collection will also feature during the festival, with “The Hallowed Catalyst” set to bring some brand new, spooky outfits to the game.

Dead by Daylight Mobile is out now for Android and iOS mobile devices.
