Ghost of Tsushima: Legends – How to Hit Ki Level 110 Fast and Without Nightmare Difficulty

Ghost of Tsushima: Legends measures the player’s power by their Ki level, and Ki is determined by the strength of the gear they have. At the moment, the maximum Ki level available to players is 110, but given how difficult Nightmare mode is, very few players have obtained this. Thankfully, there’s another way to hit 110 Ki, it’s just a bit more time consuming.

Ghost of Tsushima: Legends divides its missions into four difficulty types: bronze, silver, gold, and nightmare. With each difficulty, the potential for better rewards increases, allowing players to climb their way up to 110 eventually. The best gear, with a Ki rating of 110, can only be dropped in Nightmare mode, but there’s an alternate way to get these powerful items.

The crux of this method involves the reforging system. Whenever a player reforges gear, it’s Ki rating will raise slightly. Using this method, players can continuously reforge gear that starts at Ki level 105 (obtainable from Gold difficulty missions) in order to eventually get it to rank 110.

Before worrying about the reforging process, players will need to obtain Ki level 105 gear from Gold rank. The best way to do this quickly is to pick one character at the start and stick with them. Players should grind whichever level they find easiest on each rank until they are sufficiently geared for the next. Rinse and repeat this enough and players should be able to make it to Gold rank at 105 fairly quickly. From here, it’s all about resource management in Ghost of Tsushima: Legends.

In order to reforge a piece of equipment, players will need to expend Essence, Honor, and Shrines, and these particular upgrades do not come cheap. Each reforging costs 225 Essence, 100 Honor, and 3 Shrines, so players will probabl run out of these resources pretty quickly. With that in mind, it’s best to save Essence, Honor, and Shrines until reaching Ki level 105 in Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, as it doesn’t do much good to reforge items early on when still progressing through the ranks. Of these three resources, Honor is likely to be most in demand, so it’s especially important to stock up on that.

Even using this method, reaching Ki level 110 will take considerable time. Players will need to grind through certain levels on repeat for quite a while in order to get the resources and gear that they need, but in the end it should help prepare them for Ghost of Tsushima: Legends‘ upcoming raid.

Ghost of Tsushima: Legends is available now exclusively on PS4.
