The Pokemon Center is announcing its 2020 holiday collection, featuring a wide variety of festive-themed Pokemon products.
The Pokemon Center is the official merchandise site for fans in the US, offering all sorts of licensed, high-quality items. Players can rest assured that all of the products are real, unlike the now-infamous $375,000 First Edition Pokemon Card Set.
As of today, Trainers are able to get their hands on select items from the 2020 Holiday collection. The Pokemon Center sells all sorts of seasonal and holiday-themed things. Recently the company unveiled a spooky Halloween collection, showcasing plenty of ghost and dark-type Pokemon. Just a handful of products are currently available, with the majority arriving at a later date, similarly to how the Halloween merchandise was released. The Holiday products that are currently available are:
- Pokémon Holiday & Home Ornament (available in Pikachu and Eevee versions)
- Holiday & Home Pokémon Moomoo Milk Bottle & Plate Set
- Pokémon Holiday & Home Sign (available in Delibird and Moomoo Milk versions)
- Holiday & Home Pokémon Stockings (available in Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle versions)
- Pokémon Holiday & Home Sherpa Throw
- Holiday & HomePokémon Throw Pillow
The bulk of the 2020 collection will have a focus on home decor and kitchenware, in addition to plushies, apparel, and more. A few of the highlights include the Delibird Holiday Express Figures, festive-themed holiday plushies, and Pokemon pajamas. Pokemon is no stranger to collaborating with other brands to create top-notch themed products, like the Adidas and Pokemon shoe line. However, The Pokemon Company directly handles all of the Pokemon Center‘s merchandise.
All of the new items look great and appear well-made. They are sure to be a hit with Pokemon fans for the gift-giving season. Trainers will receive a free brass Pikachu ornament with any order. Those who are considering should act fast, however, as stock for the freebie is limited. The website may be the only form of Pokemon Center in the US, but that might actually be a good thing. One popular Pokemon Center in Japan had to close after employees tested positive for COVID-19.
The relentless barrage of holiday-themed products every year can eventually get to be a bit nauseating. There’s also people who just flat-out don’t like the holidays. Luckily, there is the release of new non-holiday Pokemon gear. Pre-orders are going live right now for the official Pokemon Center Marnie backpack. For those who don’t know, Marnie is a fan-favorite trainer from Pokemon Sword and Shield. While there’s no official release date for the remainder of the 2020 Holiday Collection, players can sign up to be notified once it becomes available.
Part of the Pokemon Center 2020 Holiday collection is available now, with the rest coming soon.
