The Halloween tour in Mario Kart Tour is coming to a close, but the next tour has already been revealed. The Sunset Tour is up next, and is set to begin in Mario Kart Tour on November 3 at 10 PM PT.
The official Mario Kart Tour Twitter account has announced the next tour for the game. New content is added to Mario Kart Tour from time to time, but the tours are the two-week events that take place in the mobile racing game. Players progress through the tours by collecting Grand Stars while racing in the cups. The Sunset Tour will be the next on the list.
Nintendo loves to celebrate Halloween, like in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, so the Halloween Tour that is wrapping up now in Mario Kart Tour is a special one. But the hits keep coming in the racer for iOS and Android. The tweet revealing the next tour showcases Toad and Toadette racing in a western level on minecarts.
It’s good to see Mario Kart Tour supported by Nintendo. The Big N is at an interesting place with its mobile games. At one point it looked like it would no longer make mobile games, but Nintendo is still committed to mobile gaming. Games like Mario Run have been a disappointment, but Fire Emblem Heroes practically prints money for the Japanese developer. Mario Kart Tour has been somewhere in the middle in terms of success, but Nintendo has continuing to support the game over a year after launch, and the Sunset Tour is next for dedicated players.
