League Of Legends: 5 Champions Who Can Beat Kratos (& 5 Who Can’t)

Over the course of a decade, League of Legends has become one of the most played games in the world, and it now has more than 150 champions, all of whom have their own designated role, as well as their own set of abilities. Every single one of these champions is powerful, but there are some who simply tower over the rest.

The God of War games have always been popular as well, and they follow a Demi-God named Kratos who kills almost every Olympian God, and he is now taking on Norse Gods like Thor. Kratos has done some pretty bad things, but he also happens to be one of PlayStation’s best heroes, and if he were to ever find himself in Runeterra, he would be able to wipe out most of League’s champions. But there are certain champions that he might not be able to beat.

10 Can Beat Him: Aatrox

According to lore, Aatrox is one of the strongest champions in Leagueand he actually shares a lot in common with Kratos because he is technically Runeterra’s God of War. Aatrox is a corrupted Ascended being who was sealed within a massive sword, and he is still the strongest of the Ascended despite his current form.

A prophecy states that Aatrox will destroy all life by himself, and under normal circumstances he and Kratos would probably kill each other, but if he enters his demonic form, he will gain an advantage because he will receive extra damage, movement speed, and healing.

9 Can’t Beat Him: Cho’Gath

Cho’Gath’s in-game immobility makes him a prime candidate for a rework, but that doesn’t mean that he isn’t strong. This monster hails from the Void and has skin as hard as diamond, and his ultimate allows him to grow indefinitely and become more and more durable as long as he successfully eats something.

Kratos has killed several Gods and Titans with his bare hands, and their skin was arguably as strong as Cho’Gath’s. If Kratos used Hercules’ Nemean Cestus, he would be able to crack through Cho’s armor, but he could also do this with the Blade of Olympus and Blade of Artemis.

8 Can Beat Him: Lissandra

Kratos can certainly beat villains from other games, but Lissandra is definitely not one of them. Lissandra is considered to be the strongest mage in Runeterra, and she wants to use her ice powers to plunge the world into a never ending ice age.

Kratos can easily break out of normal ice, but Lissandra’s black ice is infused with so much magic that even his body can be crushed by it. He could try asking for help, but that might make things worse, because if Lissandra kills any of his allies, she can create an ice clone which will follow him like a homing missile.

7 Can’t Beat Him: Gnar

In his base form Gnar is arguably the cutest champion in the game, but appearances can be deceiving. After building up enough rage, Gnar transforms into a massive, muscular beast who can throw giant boulders as if they were pebbles.

Unfortunately, Mega Gnar is roughly the size of Cerebus, the mythical three-headed dog who guards the Underworld, and Kratos was able to cut off every one of its fire breathing heads with his Blades of Chaos, and unlike Gnar, Cerberus had thick molten skin to protect its body.

6 Can Beat Him: Kindred

In League, Kindred is the embodiment of death, and according to their lore they are capable of reaping a God. Kratos escaped the Underworld after being killed in the beginning of God of War 2, but if Kindred reaps him he will stay dead because they only appear when it’s finally time for someone to pass on.

He can try to fight Kindred, but Wolf will eventually chase him down and rip him apart with his spectral teeth. Lamb would claim Kratos’ soul in a more peaceful manner, but it can still fight him with a specialized hunting bow.

5 Can’t Beat Him: Darius

Darius is one of the game’s better top laners, and he happens to be one of Noxus’ greatest warriors. He wears a gleaming suit of armor and wields a giant axe which he uses to cleave his enemies, and if the initial blow doesn’t put them down, then the bleeding effect that it causes definitely will.

If these warriors were to ever meet, they would probably have a lot of respect for one another, but if they were to fight Kratos would demolish him because aside from the axe, Darius is nothing more than an ordinary human, which means that Kratos can end him with a single punch.

4 Can Beat Him: Aurelion Sol

Kratos has killed dozens of Gods and Titans, but none of them were even close to matching Aurelion Sol’s power. Sol can create and destroy stars whenever he wants, which means that he can kill Kratos without even seeing him.

Sol is a massive celestial dragon who has suns circling his body, so it is highly unlikely that he will be hurt by any of Kratos’ God weapons. Kratos may be a God, but even he can’t survive a blast of pure starfire which is roughly 100,000 degrees.

3 Can’t Beat Him: Cassiopeia

Cassiopeia started out as a beautiful woman, but after getting bit by something while raiding a tomb, she was transformed into a deadly creature who uses poison to kill her enemies. Just like the mythical Medusa, Cass’ lower body is that of a snake’s, and she can turn others to stone whenever she uses her ultimate.

Medusa may have been strong, but Kratos killed her in the first game, and he later killed her sister. Seeing as Kratos has a track record of eliminating gorgons, it stands to reason that he can beat Cass too.

2 Can Beat Him: Teemo

He may look innocent, but Teemo is actually one of the most annoying and despised champions in the game, and like Cass his weapon of choice is poison. Teemo can fill the battlefield with invisible poisonous mushrooms that explode on contact.

Kratos will likely survive the shrooms, but he then has to deal with Teemo’s blowing dart, which blinds his enemies. Even if Kratos can’t be killed by poison, there is a high chance that he will go insane during this fight, especially when he hears Teemo’s irritating laugh.

1 Can’t Beat Him: Yasuo

Yasuo may be a full melee champion, but newcomers to the game should definitely avoid playing him. This Ionian is a master swordsman who can create a windwall to block any spell or projectile, and he can also create a tornado which knocks up his enemies and leaves them exposed to critical attacks.

All of Yasuo’s power comes from his sword, but such a weapon would not be able to fatally wound Kratos. The God of War would also be able to destroy Yasuo’s sword with any of his mythical weapons.
