Look at This Gorgeous Model of the Mandalorian’s Ship, the Razor Crest

Disney and Lucasfilm’s The Mandalorian introduced a new spaceship named the Razor Crest to the Star Wars lore. Now, Hasbro’s Haslab has unveiled a brand new video that provides a detailed first look at its fully painted model of the Razor Crest.

Hasbro’s Razor Crest model was developed as part of Haslab’s latest crowdfunding campaign, which required 6,000 fans to back the project by November 9th. By the end of September, the campaign already reached its minimum backing goal and has since garnered the support of 15,532 backers in total. Having successfully received the required funding, Hasbro intends to begin shipping the model around Fall 2021 at a cost of $349.99.

With just a few days until the crowdfunding campaign ends, Haslab has unveiled a promotional video that highlights the specs of the Razor Crest model in addition to providing a glimpse at the detailed paint job. As the video points out, the model includes a full cockpit with seats for 3 figures, a main rear ramp, side entrances, a weapons locker, a carbon-freezing chamber, and a highly detailed cargo hold. However, the most coveted item included with the model may be the Mandalorian figure with exclusive soft goods cape. The video also provides a look at 3 of the 4 unlocks that have been secured at this point, including an escape pod, 4 carbonite blocks, and a Baby Yoda figure complete with the season 1 hover pram.

Hasbro decided to select The Mandalorian‘s spacecraft as the next addition to its Vintage Collection following the success of Haslab’s model of Jabba’s the Hutt‘s sail barge. According to the company, the Razor Crest currently has more screentime than any other spacecraft in Star Wars history, with the exception of the Millennium Falcon, and was selected party due to The Mandalorian being inspired by the original trilogy. At this time, a Jawa elder figure and accompanying accessories are listed as the fifth item that will be unlocked should the campaign reach 17,000 backers.

The popularity of The Mandalorian has spawned more than a few coveted products based on the Star Wars series. Microsoft recently unveiled an Xbox One controller designed to resemble the armor worn by the title bounty hunter, though it will cost would-be buyers $159.99.

Not surprisingly, Baby Yoda has been the most popular subject of the Mandalorian tie-in products. Included among the products based on “The Child” is a 20 cm tall LEGO figure consisting of 1073 pieces.

The Mandalorian is now available on Disney+.
