Some of the PS Plus Games November 2020 Free Games Are Available Now

It’s November 3, which means that the first free PlayStation Plus games for November 2020 are available now. PS4 owners who are subscribed to PS Plus can head over to the PlayStation Store right now to claim their free copies of Middle-earth: Shadow of War and Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition. However, it should be noted that not all of the free PS Plus games for November 2020 are available just yet.

With Sony’s PlayStation 5 console launching on November 12, the PS Plus program will soon include games for the next-generation console. It’s been confirmed that the first PS5 PS Plus game is none other than Bugsnax, a quirky first-person game where players have to collect bizarre creatures that are seemingly made out of food items. Bugsnax will be joining the other free PS Plus games for November 2020 come the PS5’s launch on November 12. However, it should be noted that this only applies to the PS5 version of the game, so those wanting to play Bugsnax on PS4 will have to buy it.

Meanwhile, PS5 owners have a lot more to look forward to this month when it comes to their PlayStation Plus subscription. At launch, the PS Plus owners on PS5 will have instant access to the PS Plus Collection, an assortment of highly-rated PS4 games, including many of the console’s biggest exclusives.

With the PS Plus Collection, Sony is making some big changes to its popular subscription service. However, the PS Plus Collection may not be the only change that’s coming to PS Plus with the PS5. Bugsnax is set to be available from November 12 until January 4, and it’s also been confirmed that the free PS5 PS Plus game for February 2021, Destruction AllStars, will also be free for a two month period. This could be a sign that PS5 games will be free on PS Plus for two months at a time, as opposed to PS4 games, which are only available for one month.

Looking even further down the line, PS Plus will likely change again when Sony eventually phases out support for the PS4. At that point, it wouldn’t be surprising for the PS Plus lineup to consist of two PS5 games, as opposed to the one that’s being offered at launch. However, that’s just speculation at this time, and Sony has said that it plans on supporting the PS4 until at least 2022, so fans shouldn’t expect any changes like that to come to pass any time soon.
