There are several techniques among the Call of Duty: Warzone community that help give players an advantage when used correctly. Thanks to some tricks made in Call of Duty: Warzone, players have discovered a few new tricks to aid in player mobility.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare‘s engine birthed the rise of slide-canceling and bunny hopping. These two techniques were not possible before the game launched, but now players are spending hours learning how to properly navigate their digital battlefields.
Players have been bunny hopping for quite a while using variations of a core technique. The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare trick is rather simple in concept, but can be difficult to master in practice among fast-paced public lobbies. The idea is simple, players must first build up momentum by sprinting and then burn that momentum in a side jump that results in a fast hop several times. This technique is commonly used to round corners or enter dangerous rooms, as bunny hobbing is harder to track for camping players. While this concept is commonly known, Reddit user deathdude01 posted a video that demonstrates a further exploit of this momentum-based mechanics.
Dubbed the “Super Bunny Hop,” this new technique allows players to super jump across the screen and has become a popular Call of Duty: Warzone trick. The concept is similar, but the result is must faster with further distances than originally thought possible.
To be clear, the super bunny hop is not a glitch or exploit, it is instead a trick discovered by the community that is a result of the realistic engine. The key to triggering a super bunny hop is to jump down from an elevated area onto a slanted surface. Players that can gain enough speed and bunny hop the landing will result in a super bunny hop bounce.
This Call of Duty: Warzone technique is all about timing as players must jump immediately as they hit the ground. The impact will propel the player forward and often confuses the enemy granting the player time for a quick and lethal elimination.
The super bunny hop works in both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone, as they use the same movement. Warzone tends to be more forgiving with fall damage, so many fans find that this technique works even smoother in Verdansk as opposed to multiplayer.
This trick does take some time to master, fans are advised to simply practice until it becomes natural.
Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
