Activision has already revealed plenty of key information that players are going to want to know before Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War releases. For starters, all of Cold War’s multiplayer maps available at launch have been detailed. Similarly, multiplayer and Zombie modes have also been detailed, so players have a good idea of what they’ll be able to play first. However, first players need to know when the game will be going live across different regions and time zones.

All of these times will be specific to North America, meaning the US, Canada, and Mexico. First, PS4 and PS5 versions of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will be available to play starting at 9 PM Pacific Time or at midnight Eastern Time. Second, the Xbox One and Xbox Series X versions also release starting at 9 PM Pacific Time or at midnight Eastern Time. The odd one out is the PC release through Battle.net which is set to release globally at a yet unspecified time on November 13. It should be noted that Cold War’s day one update size is going to be an additional 11 GB download, so players should be prepared for that.

It seems that console players may end up having a very small head start on Cold War compared to PC players. Though a specific release time frame has not been given for Cold War’s PC version, it’s possible it will also launch globally at 9 PM Pacific Time alongside consoles. As is usually the case with new Call of Duty launches, a huge amount of players will no doubt be online during launch night. Seeing as Cold War had COD’s biggest beta to date, it’s safe to say a lot of players will be playing day one.

Still, for those who missed the beta, there is still time to familiarize themselves with Cold War. Activision has released tons of trailers for Cold War in the leadup to release. Giving each trailer a quick watch will catch players up to speed with what Cold War has in store for them. Though players might be waiting a bit for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War to download, it’s sure to be quite the eventful launch.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is launching November 13 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
