While the big launch title for the PS5 may be the well-received Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is also on the way. The re-release of 2018’s hit superhero game comes with full game content, including DLC, as well as new content. Now the trophy list has also been revealed, and platinum hunters may want to know that a few new trophies are being added to the game.
There are 74 trophies for Marvel’s Spider-Man for PS4. The remastered version for the PS5, however, has 79, meaning there are 5 new trophies. All 5 of them seem to be silver trophies and ask players to complete an array of different challenges.
Grinding All the Way asks players to max out one Benchmark type. Players must max out all Gadgets to receive the Full Arsenal trophy. The Master’s Education trophy has the description of “Achieve Ultimate on a Taskmaster Challenge.” Once a player archives a combo of 100, they will receive the ‘So Many Hits…’ trophy. And lastly, if a player can manage to complete an entire Enemy Base without taking any damage, they will receive the Untouchable Spider-Man trophy. The trophy list for Miles Morales was also revealed recently.
The new trophies are exciting, and there will certainly be players who platinum the PS5 version of the game, even if they already did on the PS4. The trophies aren’t the only things that are new for the game, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered comes with two new suits as well. From a performance perspective, the remaster should see massive improvements to reflections and shadows, thanks to ray-tracing. Additionally, the game will see a new performance mode that boosts it to running in 60 frames per second.
It will be interesting to see how well Spider-Man Remastered does on the PS5. Of course, the original game was a big success on the PS4 and a fan-favorite. But with Miles Morales coming out, the focus will be on that new game. An interesting thing to note is that Spider-Man Remastered is a much bigger game, as Miles Morales can be beaten in 7-10 hours, compared to somewhere around 20 for Spider-Man Remastered, plus all the DLC.
There are multiple options to choose from in terms of thrilling PS5 launch titles on November 12. Spider-Man alone provides two. Just simply choosing a game to play first on the next-generation console is something that is exciting for many, and while some will gravitate to what is new, like Miles Morales, Spider-Man Remastered also has a lot to offer.
Spider-Man Remastered will be available on November 12 for PlayStation 5.
