Adult Swim Festival has announced the full lineup of events happening over the weekend. Having been forced to move online due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the entire event will be free to watch via YouTube.
Fans can expect a mix of live performances and panels along with the premieres of new videos from Deftones and a collaboration between Run the Jewels and Cyberpunk 2077. The online festival will kick off on Nov 13 ending the day after.
Some of the highlights include a panel for Tuca & Bertie season 2. Having been cancelled by Netflix after its debut season, it was bought by Adult Swim who ordered a new season due in 2021. Creator Lisa Hanawalt (co-creator of Bojack Horseman) and some special guests will be on hand to let people know what to expect from this new season.
Alternative comedian Eric Andre will be taking part in an online Q&A moderated by David Gborie that’ll go behind the scenes of his anarchic chatshow spoof. There will also be a special panel celebrating Rick & Morty with co-creator Dan Harmon, Chris Parnell (voice of Jerry Smith), Sarah Chalke (Beth Smith) and Spencer Grammar (teen daughter Summer) looking back at the best moments of season 4 and taking questions from fans all over the world.
Other events will be live watchalongs of episodes from series such as Samurai Jack, Metalocalypse and Three Busy Debras with guests promised to show up in chat. On top of all of that, there’ll be some giveaways happening throughout the weekend too. Free stuff!
