Activision has released a new trailer for their upcoming title Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. This trailer showcases some of the sharp graphics, fast-paced action, and new weapons that will be in the next title. Alongside campaign and multiplayer footage, the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Confrontation Pack has been officially revealed.
Call of Duty titles often launches with special promotional cosmetics for fans who pre-order the title. This pack will be available for anyone who pre-ordered a digital copy of the game offering players a few solid starter weapons. This is a small pack in comparison to other bundles, but it cosmetically fulfills the theme of this upcoming title.
The Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Confrontations Weapon Pack includes two weapon blueprints for fans. One is an American themed M-16 rifle while the other is a Russian themed Ak-47. These two weapons are iconic to the Cold War era as the primarily used weapons on both sides. The skins go far to symbolize the colors of each side giving the guns a distinct theme aside from their iconic designs. While the M-16 and Ak-47 may not be top tier guns once the game’s meta forms, these skins still go far in giving off a distinct and focused depiction of each side of this historic conflict.
All a player has to do to unlock these weapons is have a digital copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War pre-ordered. The cosmetics are expected to be delivered upon the initial launch of the title alongside any other digital goods that players have paid for. These weapons and their associated blueprints will give players a good starting point to have some well-geared starters for their launch into the intense multiplayer experience.
There is a ton in the next Call of Duty title that many fans are looking forward to including the return of fan favorite characters like Woods and Mason from previous Black Ops games. While the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War multiplayer beta wasn’t always a smooth ride, fans are hopeful that their concerns have been met and the upcoming title improved.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War fans on PlayStation will also be receiving the Sony Advantage. While this bundle of extras has sparked some contention among the game’s community, the developers seem to be going forward with their initial plan. The Sony Advantage content is expected to be available as of the launch of the title alongside the Confrontations Weapon Pack.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is set to launch on November 13th for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
