Gearbox has finally revealed the 4th skill trees for the Borderlands 3 Vault Hunters. These new trees are guaranteed to bring in some new builds that will further enhance the way that many people play the game. With that being said, the previous skill trees are still extremely viable and players have figured out how to use them effectively.
These builds are so effective that some of them can take down bosses in the blink of an eye or wipe out hordes of enemies without breaking a sweat. Let’s count down some of the most badass builds of all before new ones start flooding in.
10 5G Fl4k
Fl4k is an amazing character and his bets are all adorable. This build from Moxsy, focuses on Fl4k’s pet by using the Gamma Burst ability. This ability makes Fl4k’s pet nearly invincible. What makes this build so powerful is the use of the Red Fang class mod. This class mod makes Fl4k’s pet draw enemy focus to keep Fl4k alive while running through the battlefield. Moxsy has shown videos of himself running the Maliwan Takedown with this build and receiving little to no damage. If the new skill trees don’t work out, this is a must-try build.
9 Seein’ Double Zane
There is no denying that Zane’s Seein’ Dead class mod is the best class mod for him. This class mod has been seen in so many builds that it has become the staple of any solid Zane build. This build by Joltzdude139 uses Seein’ Dead to its fullest potential and gives the player a build that can easily take down tons of enemies. This build does require some gear to be used but is mostly versatile with the weapon choices. Be sure to pick weapons that are good for the clone to use like the Lightshow or the Sandhawk.
8 Steel Savior Moze
It took a long time, but Iron Bear has finally become useful outside of getting a small amount of protection. Many players remember how bad Iron Bear was when Borderlands 3 launched. It died very quickly and didn’t have the kind of damage that other characters had.
That has all changed and now Iron Bear can be a deadly force. Joltzdude139 has figured out how to make Iron Bear tougher than any boss. This build does require a few items, but it is mostly up to player choice since Iron Bear will be doing most of the damage.
7 Gladiator Amara
Welcoming back another Joltdude139 build, this time for Amara. The YouTuber has figured out a way to make Amara a melee damage god with a promise that each melee hit will deal a billion damage points. That’s right, a billion. This build does require some anointment farming which is never fun, but it will be worth it to be able to punch any enemy to death. This build utilizes the newest Amara class mod called the Muse which other players have discovered to be extremely powerful.
6 Do It All Fl4k
Ki11er Six is another Youtuber who makes plenty of builds for various vault hunters. This build, however, focuses on Fl4k. Most people recognize Fl4k as being pretty squishy, but that isn’t the case with this build. Ki11er Six has stated that this build is very versatile and lets players use any action skill they want. He shows off multiple weapons with the build that are very powerful while also showing off all of the action skills. Through the video, he shows how easy it is to take enemies down with this build and damage markers in the millions.
5 Fire Hoze Moze
Moxsy is back with another build, this time for Moze. This build is an updated version of an older build he created but with more damage potential. He shows himself killing multiple bosses with a pistol, rocket launcher, and other weapons. All of this without the use of Iron Bear. He even states during the video that almost anything can be used on the build, but a few items will be necessary. One of these items is the Blast Master class mod. He does make a note about the Mind Sweeper class mod as well, but it ultimately doesn’t do as much damage.
4 Bulletstorm Moze
Here is a build that focuses on Moze’s ability to regenerate ammo. This build was created by Joltzdude139 and uses multiple weapons with high magazine sizes. The reason for this is so that Moze can keep dishing out damage without the need for reloading her weapons.
This build also utilizes incendiary damage which is the best damage type for Moze. It also takes advantage of the Sapper class mod that gives Moze lifesteal. For anyone who remembers, this class mod is extremely useful for giving Moze health since she doesn’t have skills for that.
3 Khaos Queen Amara
Another Moxsy build. This Amara build is one of the most versatile that a player can find. It can use almost any weapon in the game, but Moxsy does share some personal favorites. This build focuses on the skill Ties That Bind along with the Phazerker class mod. Anyone who remembers the original builds that use the Phazerker class mod will remember how powerful it can make any build. Most of the video focuses on gear that a player can use, but it is still just recommendations.
2 Rakk Attack Fl4k
While it may not have an amazing name like the other builds, YouTuber Kody McHugh has created a build that utilizes Fl4k’s Rakk Attack ability. The video for his build shows him take down multiple enemies with a single use of the Rakk Attack ability. Not many builds have managed to unlock that kind of damage out of these seemingly weak creatures. There are a lot of recommendations for weapons that McHugh makes, but the build does require the Bounty Hunter Class mod.
1 Shadow Clone Zane
Moxsy on YouTube is one of the best when it comes to creating amazing Borderlands 3 builds. One of his builds that he entitled the “Shadow Clone” Zane build, deals with summoning an overpowered clone that can take down nearly any enemy with a couple of hits. In the video, he says that this build is very versatile. That is one of the most important things with a build. After all, players hate needing to grind for specific loot and would rather use guns they know and love that are powerful.
