The figure was provided by Paradox Interactive in its Q3 financial report and on Twitter.

Within a month of release, players racked up 25 million hours of playtime, bore 40,591,268 children, 18,212,157 successful murder schemes were performed, 370,305 people have petted pets, and other interesting stats.
