Who created the world? What is reality? What is life? These are some of the questions that men are still trying to figure out. But there’s one question that will never be solved: what will happen if Superman fights Goku? To be precise, who would win in a deathmatch? Fans have debated this topic for years and to no avail.
Nobody can figure out who will win between the two because the characters are stuck in their own universes. However, there’s one thing people can do about this, and that is to speculate and create tons of memes.
10 Krillin Can Beat Supes
There’s a fair bit of animosity between Goku fans and Superman fans. This has grown to the point that some consider the Dragon Ball universe way more powerful, while others think it is DC. While this will always remain subjective, nobody can stop the fans from throwing words at each other and creating memes like this.
Who would win between Krillin and Superman? And if Krillin can defeat supes, what does it say about characters like Green Arrow and The Batman.
9 Destruction Is Unavoidable, Maybe
While most DC fans understand the concept of collateral damage, many people do not. But they are not to blame for it either. Most of the kid-friendly movies and shows nowadays show heroes saving the day, avoiding any collateral damage.
While on paper, this is nice, it is far from realistic. However, since these stories are fiction, why even show innocents dying or buildings collapsing? At the end of the day, if DC wants to express its universe this way, then it should.
8 What If They Fight One-Punch Man’s Saitama
The question of Superman Vs. Goku has some logic to it, but it can be taken a step further. In a world where Clark Kent and Kakarot have similar roles in their respective universes, what would happen if Saitama steps in and fights them?
What if the one on one match becomes a tornado tag-team bout to see the strongest character? Goku and Superman vs. Saitama, who will win? Well, according to the meme, it seems like a clear time-limit draw.
7 Why Would They Even Fight?
While many fans might want to tear each other apart to prove their point, a meeting between these two characters could go down a very different route. What if Goku befriends Superman? More importantly, why would two perfectly good human beings fight each other?
The Man of Steel has no desire to be in a fighting tournament, so it cannot be that; conversely, Kakarot would never harm an innocent person who’s trying to help the people of the world, just like him.
6 One Hit Kill
This meme is hilarious for a whole different reason. Every Dragon Ball fan knows how a fight usually goes in the anime. People meet in an empty area where they can talk and then fight; after a short period, the characters will pause the fighting to think and talk. This process is repeated until someone stays down.
While it fits the nature of the anime, fighting Superman is a whole different ballgame. Superman will not stop and talk between a fight. He will not wait for Goku to transform into his Super Saiyan Ultra God Level 9459 or whatever it is. He will go for the kill.
5 It Is The Fans Who Fight
This is genuinely how it will go if Superman and Goku were to ever meet. They’ll probably end up being terrific friends, share similar views, and help the city’s civilians.
They might even attend birthday parties together or spend nights playing video games. Despite what fans think of their brutal encounter, it seems more likely the two would see each other as allies.
4 Superman Makes Great Sandwiches
This comic panel, in combination with that caption, makes it savagely hilarious. The panel shows Superman getting ready to do the chores at home. While this is classic and really casual for the time, it wouldn’t stop Goku fans from making the best out of this opportunity.
On another note, maybe Superman is a great cook after all and can genuinely make a good sandwich for Goku and himself.
3 If Alfred Can Beat Him, Then Anyone Can
These few comic panels show Superman getting destroyed by none other than Alfred, a moment that happens in the Injustice: Gods Among Us comic. That’s right. The sixty-year-old man whoops the hero like there’s no tomorrow. If Alfred can defeat the Man of Steel, where does that leave Goku?
Now, to be fair, Alfred had to ingest a pill to give himself superpowers so he could defeat Superman. Nevertheless, Goku can certainly tear the hero limb to limb, as a superpowered Alfred is nowhere close to the Saiyan’s level.
2 “Super”Man
While kryptonite is a common plot point of many of Superman’s stories, it is certainly understandable why Goku and Vegeta would laugh at the concept. While one property shows characters getting stronger and evolving into powerful forms, the other shows the main character falling to his knees every time a green stone is near him.
This is funny by Dragon Ball‘s standards or any standard, really.
1 It Wasn’t Goku
This one is hilarious and makes fun of both shows. On the surface, the meme shows Superman returning from a fight against who he presumed to be Goku. Unfortunately, Batman gives him a reality check.
It wasn’t Kakarot but Yamcha. It is also funny how many characters in the Dragon Ball resemble each other. Maybe it is the art style or intentional, but this mixup is not too difficult to buy. On another note, if Yamcha can stand up to Superman, well, then DC’s heroes should probably stay away from the Dragon Ball universe.
