Cyberpunk 2077 is steadily approaching its latest, and hopefully final, release date. To celebrate, CD Projekt Red has announced that everyone who purchases Cyberpunk 2077 will unlock a special package full of extra cosmetic items, regardless of where they play the game.
Given Cyberpunk 2077’s plans for free DLC, the addition of extra rewards for purchasing the highly anticipated RPG is hardly surprising. The rewards could be a good indication of what is to come for that free DLC, however, as the special bonuses include outfits and weaponry for V. Even an in-game plushie can be obtained for Cyberpunk 2077, showing an adorable version of a Cyborg Dragon.
PC, PlayStation, and Xbox users can all unlock the reward pack, with pre-orders not being necessary to obtain the in-game goodies. Those who buy the physical edition of Cyberpunk 2077 can unlock the items too, ensuring that everyone has access to the collection of items. All players need to do to acquire the loot is connect their game to GOG.com, making the process extremely quick once fans have their copies.
The Cyberpunk 2077 pack includes a shirt with a purple logo alongside a special sword, but both additions are likely to be outshined by by the inclusion of Witcher-themed clothing. With a basic black T-shirt depicting Geralt’s Wolf medallion, and a stylish brown jacket with the same symbol embroidered on the back, these two outfits should please fans of CD Projekt Red’s past work. With an NSFW Witcher easter egg in the game as well, Cyberpunk 2077 already has a fair bit of homages to the beloved franchise.
