Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate is the new, next generation update to an already graphics-intensive and gory game. There are a lot of upgrades and benefits to MK11 on both the Xbox Series and the PS5, giving players more of the gruesome battles that they look for in this long-running series. The updated version also has a few new faces, including the long-awaited Mileena, Rambo, and Rain.
Rain is a ninja, one of several in the games wearing nearly identical costumes in different colors. He is the purple version of Mortal Kombat‘s Scorpion, Reptile, and Sub Zero, and his powers are focused around weather and water. He can manipulate lightning and turn water into a solid to attack enemies. All of his fatalities, friendship, moves, and brutalities are focused mainly around this incredible power. That, and making a Queen reference in one of Rain’s MK11 fatalities.
Rain has three fatalities, a friendship, and several brutalities, just like Mileena and Rambo. First up are the absolutely brutal fatalities.
Eye-Solated (Anywhere) – Rain cuts his victim in half while pushing their eyes out of their heads with his water powers.

- Xbox: Back, Forward, Back, Down, Y
- Switch: Back, Forward, Back, Down, X
Power Washer (Close)
- PC: Back, Down, Down, 1

- Switch: Back, Down, Down, Y
Stage Fatality
- PC: Forward, Back, Down, Down, 3
- PlayStation: Forward, Back, Down, Down, X
- Xbox: Forward, Back, Down, Down, A
- Switch: Forward, Back, Down, Down, B
Brutalities are shortened versions of Fatalities, and they can be just as gruesome. MK11 Ultimate added a bunch of these new moves for Rambo, Rain, and Mileena in all of their bloody glory.
The Klassic – Final hit must come from an uppercut.
- PC: Down and hold 2
- PlayStation: Down and hold Square
- Xbox: Down and hold X
- Switch: Down and hold Y
Royal Execution – Final hit must come from Toward Throw
- PC: Forward and hold 1 and hold 3
- PlayStation: Forward and hold L1 bumper
- Xbox: Forward and hold L1 bumper
- Switch: Forward and hold L1 bumper
Bubbling Up – Final hit must come from amplified Water Ball
- PC: Back, Forward, 2, hold 1 and hold 3
- PlayStation: Back, Forward, Triangle, hold L1 bumper
- Xbox: Back, Forward, Y, hold L1 bumper
- Switch: Back, Forward, X, hold L1 bumper
Win at a carnival game using Rain’s water powers and win an adorable stuffed fish plushie. While not as adorable as Mileena’s tea party Friendship, this one is pretty cute and deserves a look.
Sofishticated (Mid)
- PC: Down, Forward, Back, Down, 1
- PlayStation: Down, Forward, Back, Down, Square
- Xbox: Down, Forward, Back, Down, X
- Switch: Down, Forward, Back, Down, Y
