Pokemon GO’s second Community Day event for November is kicking off around the world, which means it is time for Magmar to finally take the spotlight. The Gen-1 Fire-type has a pretty popular evolution in the PoGO metagame, which means that a lot of trainers will be out for today’s event.
As expected, there will be a special ticketed research storyline for players who want to trade $1 to earn some extra rewards during today’s Pokemon GO festivities. The tasks are about as simple as they can get and basically just require doing things that most players would already do during a Community Day anyway.
One nice thing about the Magmar ticketed research that makes it more tempting than the average Community Day ticketed quests is the inclusion of the Sinnoh Stone as a reward. Since Magmar actually requires the Sinnoh Stone to evolve and earn its exclusive move for the day, every player is going to want to have at least one Sinnoh Stone before the event ends. The ticketed research is a nice and easy guaranteed way to earn that item for players who are willing to spend one real world dollar.

That should be everything trainers need to know to decide whether purchasing the ticketed research storyline is the right decision for them. There’s no denying that some solid rewards are up for grabs and that the tasks aren’t very difficult, so it’s really just a matter of whether one dollar is worth it or not.
As trainers continue working through these amazing events and waiting for the GO Beyond update to officially arrive, they may want to keep hunting down the best Unova Pokemon in the game if improving their Battle Raid rosters and completing their Pokedex is their primary goal. Be sure to check back in the near future for more Pokemon GO strategy guides, news, and updates. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!
