The level 40+ test is officially underway in Australia and it won’t be long before Pokemon GO players around the world are earning more XP and completing tasks to race towards the game’s next level cap. Hitting level 50 is going to take a lot more than just grinding experience points though, so players should start preparing for some skill-based challenges that are on the way.
To make the level up experience more exciting for the highest level of Pokemon GO players, Niantic is requiring the completion of a set of four skill-based challenges to go along with the experience points required for each level from 41 to 50. Some of these tasks are fairly simple and the majority of players will autocomplete them, but many others actually require a good bit of skill, resources, and time.
The increased level up is expected to launch worldwide along with the rest of the GO Beyond update after the initial testing period has concluded in Australia. The Season of Celebration is just a few days away, so PoGO players will be experiencing a whole new era of the mobile AR experience by the time December rolls around.

Keep in mind that all of these tasks were discovered through data mining and the Australia test of the new features, so everything is subject to change if Niantic feels like it needs to adjustments along the way to improve the system, make things more challenging, or make things easier. For now at least, it seems like these are the tasks that endgame players can expect to face when the feature goes live.
As trainers continue working through these amazing events and waiting for the GO Beyond update to officially arrive, they may want to keep hunting down the best Unova Pokemon in the game if improving their Battle Raid rosters and completing their Pokedex is their primary goal. Be sure to check back in the near future for more Pokemon GO strategy guides, news, and updates. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!
