Twitch streamer JadeyAnh has recently encountered escalation of problems with a stalker, who has ordered food several times under her name to be delivered to her apartment and even sent the police to her residence.
Streamers on Twitch and YouTube experiencing stalkers isn’t a new issue, especially not for popular or female content creators. The controversial Twitch streamer Alinity discussed an issue with people in her neighborhood recognizing her and following her around after an incident involving her cat in 2019. Also last year, PewDiePie and his wife Marzia’s house was broken into, with 90% of their valuables stolen.
Now, Twitch streamer JadeyAnh is experiencing a terrifying issue where one of her followers seemingly has discovered her personal residence address. In a “Just Chatting” session on the platform, JadeyAnh switches to a serious, somewhat panicked tone to discuss a recent stalker problem with a Twitch follower, revealing that someone who she believes to be currently watching her is sending several pizzas to her apartment.
After returning from answering her front door, JadeAnh explains that this is the third time this person has attempted to have food delivered directly to her apartment and that she hasn’t left her home for days because she’s terrified to even so much as pick up groceries. “Officially,” she says, “please stop doing that.”
JadeyAnh also goes on to explain that she previously had an issue with a neighbor as well. This neighbor is also a follower, she explains, and would open up her packages when they arrived at her residence. She claims that these are two different Twitch followers, but according to her Twitter posts, this unrelated issue was happening as recently as yesterday.
Later on in her stream, JadeyAnh is interrupted once again by knocking at her door. She explains that she knocked back because she couldn’t see their face and said, “Who’s there?” But no response came on the other end. Sometime later, more knocking comes from her front door, but this time, it’s firemen who have arrived due to a fake call from the harasser that there is a gas leak at her apartment.
The firefighters were given her address by another caller with the police also on their way to her apartment. At this point, JadeyAnh ends the stream with a shaky voice and tears. According to the streamer, the person who called the fire department knew she was streaming. Before ending the session, JadeyAnh promises to trace the phone number and find the person responsible for the harassment.
