Black Friday may still be a few days away, but players on the PS4 and PS5 are in luck now that some deals for both consoles are already live right now. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, players should still expect to see huge discounts on some of the biggest games to release on the PS4 alongside some titles that are also available on the newly-released PS5.
Now, for those interested in purchasing new games for the PS4 or PS5, the PlayStation Store is currently holding a massive sale on numerous games with discounts of up to 70% off alongside subscriptions to both the PS Plus and PS Now. It is worth noting that the PlayStation Store’s Black Friday Sale will only be available until November 30, giving players plenty of time to browse a deal or two.
Headlining the PlayStation Store’s Black Friday Deals are discounts on subscriptions for both the PS Plus and PS Now. Of course, those unfamiliar with both services should only know that the PS Now offers a wide library of games that players can access via streaming. On the other hand, the PS Plus provides access to the console’s online functionality, alongside a handful of free PS Plus games every month. Apart from the official PlayStation Store, eBay is also offering a 1-year subscription to the PS Plus for a cheaper price of $32.99, but players should note that eBay’s stocks are only limited.
PlayStation Now:
- PlayStation Now: 12-Month Subscription (PS Store) – $44.99
- PlayStation Now: 3-Month Subscription (PS Store) – $19.99
PlayStation Plus:
- PlayStation Plus 12-Month Subscription (eBay) – $32.99

- PlayStation Plus 12-Month Subscription (PS Store) – $44.99
The most exciting part of the PlayStation Store’s Black Friday sale is its wide variety of PS4 and PS5 games that players can get at a discount. Headlining the list of games on sale is Watch Dogs Legion, which was just released by Ubisoft last month. Players can get both the PS4 and PS5 version of the game for $40.19, which is 33% off its original price of $59.99. The game’s Ultimate Edition, which includes the season pass, 4 unique heroes, extra Deadsec missions, and much more is also on sale for $80.39 or 33% off its MSRP of $119.9.
Additionally, the PlayStation Store offers some of its big exclusive titles on sale, including The Last of Us 2 and Ghost of Tsushima. It is worth noting that both of these games were just released this year, and it is likely that this will be the only time this year that these games will be offered at low prices, which is why players should take advantage of the sale now it is still available.

Ever since the release of the PS5 several weeks ago, stocks of the next-gen console quickly sold out. At the moment, it is basically impossible to get a hold of the console, but luckily for players, some retailers confirmed that stocks of the PS5 would be available on Black Friday. So far, Walmart, GameStop, and Best Buy have all revealed that they would offer the PS5 on Black Friday. However, it is worth noting that the next-gen console will not be available in-stores, and players can only purchase it online. As expected, the PS5 will remain at full price on Black Friday, given that it has just been released, and stocks are barely able to keep up with demand.
