Training Regimen is a World Quest that was added as part of World of Warcraft‘s brand-new Shadowlands expansion, and it begins by sending players to retrieve a Phalynx named Gatamatos. Once retrieved, fans will need to use the creature to locate a number of Training Gems, while also slaying several Agitated Etherywyrms. For those World of Warcraft players that may find themselves stuck as they work on the various parts of the quest, this guide is here to help.
Before providing a full walkthrough of the Training Regimen World Quest, it is important to note that many fans are currently reporting that it is bugged. Specifically, these players indicate that they are simply unable to click on Gatamatos, making it impossible to retrieve the beast and advance. The prevailing theory at the time of writing is that this bug occurs if a fan picked Larion during Shadowlands’ Pride or Unit quest, and unfortunately there is no apparent workaround for the issue at the moment.
With that established, WoW players that are able to click on Gatamatos in Forgefire Outpost should do just that in order to put the Training Regimen World Quest into motion. They should then make their way down from this location, navigating through the Golden Pasture and into the nearby Hall of Beasts. Here fans will find numerous Agitated Etherywyrms, and they should eliminate eight of them to complete the first half of Shadowland’s Training Regimen quest.
Players will also be given access to a special ability called Order Search when they are inside of the Hall of Beasts, and indeed it is the key to the second part of the quest. Simply, using this ability instructs Gatamatos to search the ground for gems, and fans should be able to locate the requisite six Training Gems fairly quickly. When that has been done, players should return to Forgefire Outpost in Bastion, work with Pelodis, and complete the quest.
With respect to what fans will earn for finishing Shadowlands’ Training Regimen quest, the reward is four Censer of Dried Gracepetals. Each of these items can be used to infuse 35 stored Anima into a covenant’s Reservoir, which makes them quite desirable indeed. Hopefully, the aforementioned bug will be addressed soon so that all players can access these rewards, or perhaps the playing field will be leveled with the introduction of a World Quest that is intended only for fans that selected Larion.
World of Warcraft is available now for PC.
