Worms Rumble is the newest entry in the long-running Worms series, but it stands out a bit from the rest of the Worms titles that have come before it. Unlike the traditional team-based artillery tactical formula of its predecessors, Worms Rumble is a battle royale game with 32-player action happening on much larger maps.
Additionally, players on PS4 and PS5 with PlayStation Plus will be able to grab the game for free during the month of December. Now, the full trophy list for Worms Rumble has made its way online, and the road to the platinum trophy looks pretty manageable.
Team 17, the development team behind the famous Worms series, has been with the series since its inception in 1995. Earlier in March, Team 17 teased a brand new Worms game on Twitter, showcasing small clips of the series’ earliest titles. Today, the Worms game that Team 17 teased all the way back in March is about to be released in the form of Worms Rumble. Though Worms Rumble is quite the departure from the typical Worms formula that has come before, it seems like the game still keeps that same charm of the series intact.
For those who may have missed the official announcement, Worms Rumble is a free PS Plus game for December. Seeing as the release is only a few days away, the game’s official trophy list for PlayStation consoles is available to view now on PSN Profiles. All in all, the trophy list looks very straightforward, with a total of 27 different trophies to obtain including the Platinum. There are plenty of trophies relating to the early-game content of Worms Rumble, like “Complete Training” or “Use an Emote” that players should have no trouble getting, while other trophies like “Reach level 10 with all weapons” will probably take much longer to obtain.
The full trophy list is as follows:
- Full Wormage: Unlock all other trophies
- Tooled Up: Reach level 10 with all weapons
- Geared Up: Unlock all levelling customization items
- One Worm Army: Get a kill with each weapon and grenade
- Big Spender: Spend 100,000 money
- Challenger: Complete 50 daily challenges
- Maxed Out: Reach Level 50
- Hot Streak: Get a kill streak of 3
- On a Roll: Roll 1000 meters
- Centurion: Get 100 Kills
- Last Worm Standing: Win a Last Worm Standing Game
- Half Way There: Reach Level 25
- Fall Guy: Fall 1000 meters
- Better Than Most: Place in the top 50% of a match
- Born Winner: Win a Deathmatch Game
- Boot Camp: Complete Training
- Three Sir!: Kill a worm with the Holy Hand Grenade
- High Life: Play 10 games in Transforming Towers
- Double Figures: Get 10 kills
- Retail Therapy: Play 10 games in Missile Mall
- Go Sports!: Play 10 games in Portal Park
- Making Progress: Reach Level 10
- Gratz: Level up
- Finisher: Finish your first game
- Fashionista: Buy a customization item
- Express Yourself: Use an Emote
- Swing Batter Batter!: Rebound a Bazooka projectile with the Baseball Bat
Many of the trophies revolve around actively succeeding and performing tasks within the battle royale mode. Trophies such as “Complete 50 daily challenges” and “Place in the top 50% of a match” are pretty standard trophies for battle royale games. Thankfully, there are also trophies that focus on the game’s more standard deathmatch mode. While some fans have their reservations about Worms Rumble’s departure from past Worms games’ genre and formula, the game looks like a solid package altogether.
More importantly for trophy hunters, though, is that the game’s trophy list looks easily obtainable with some dedication. Of course, Worms Rumble isn’t the only PS Plus game available for players in December. Players can also download Just Cause 4 and Rocket Arena for free during December.
Worms Rumble will be available on PS4, PS5, and PC on December 1.
