The Faerie Stash is a treasure chest that players can encounter while they are exploring the Ardenweald zone in World of Warcraft‘s Shadowlands expansion. Some fans may find it slightly difficult to reach the chest once it has appeared on their mini-maps, though, as it is always positioned overhead. Fortunately, it is not extremely challenging to gain some elevation and collect the Faerie Stash in World of Warcraft, and this guide will detail exactly how that is done.
To begin, there are five locations where the Faerie Stash in Shadowlands can appear, though the way to reach the chest is always the same. More specifically, players must locate a Bounding Shroom on the ground near the cache and then walk on top of it to be sent into the air. Since the exact position of the Faerie Stash can vary, so can the position of the Bounding Shroom, and here is a breakdown of where all of the chests and their associated launchpads can appear:
- Star Lake Amphitheater: Faerie Stash – 41.35 44.77 | Bounding Shroom – 39.90 43.68
- Shrouded Mire: Faerie Stash – 65.34 23.51 | Bounding Shroom – 64.66 23.38
- Darkreach: Faerie Stash – 42.50 66.86 | Bounding Shroom – 42.77 66.16
- Dreamsong Fenn: Faerie Stash – 32.76 29.97 | Bounding Shroom – 32.71 29.78
- Furrowed Glen: Faerie Stash – 42.53 21.83 | Bounding Shroom – 43.53 22.90
While navigating to the various Faerie Stashes is certainly possible with just the information found above, it may be worthwhile to say a bit more about the locations of the chests. To put things simply, the caches that appear in the Amphitheater, Dreamsong Fenn, and Furrowed Glen all spawn on rock formations, while those in Shrouded Mire and Darkreach are in trees. Again, the provided waypoints should get WoW players to each of the five Faerie Stashes, but these additional details may also prove helpful.
After a fan has collected their loot from a Faerie Stash, they may be interested in pursuing some of the rare enemies that appear in Ardenweald, and indeed there are several. Of them all, Humon’gozz may be the one that most players are interested in, as that mob drops a mount called the Arboreal Gulper. To fight Humon’gozz, fans simply need to find an Unusually Large Mushroom, which can drop from any of the mobs in Ardenweald, and plant it in the Damp Loam at 32.42 30.26.
Players can also summon a rare from the Mysterious Mushroom Ring located at 36.5, 47.9, though that cannot be done solo. Indeed, fans will need the help of two others to spawn Macabre from this ring, and they must all dance with one another while standing within the Ring of Dance. While this may take a bit of coordination to execute successfully, players will be rewarded with a new pet for their efforts.
World of Warcraft is available now for PC.
