World of Warcraft: Shadowlands adds new treasures to find like the Skyward Bells and quests for players to complete, but sometimes fans could use a little more guidance on how they’re supposed to go about doing that. This is the case with the Trouble at the Gormling Corral quest, which has been confusing fans due to its lack of explanation.
Most quests in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands are fairly simple, and the same holds true for Trouble at the Gormling Corral. Players shouldn’t have any difficulty completing this quest, but the way it’s presented has led some to be a bit confused about their objective.
For starters, the Trouble at the Gormling Corral quest can be initiated once the player reaches the new level cap in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands of 60, after which point there are two main objectives. Players must take the modified Gormling lure and deliver five (eight depending on quest difficulty) Gormdaughters to Wrangler.
The first thing players need to do is grab the modified Gormling lure. This can be found at coordinates 48,0, 24,3, and picking it up will grant the player the Gormling Lure Totem buff. This will cause any Gormdaughters in the ring around the player to follow them, and lasts for 10 minutes. Within that 10 minute timeframe, players need to find five Gormdaughters and bring them back to the Wrangler. It’s important to note that the totem buff will dissipate if the player travels too far away into other regions of the Ardenweald, and since the zone isn’t marked on the map, this can cause problems for many players.
For this reason, instead of wandering aimlessly in the Night Fae covenant’s realm in search of Gormdaughters, players should head to coordinates 45.19, 24.21 and ride around in this area in saerch of them. The zone is also crawling with Gorm Raveners that will attack the player. These don’t need to be defeated in order to lure the Gormdaughters and complete the quest, but their attacks will slow the player down so it is sometimes advised to take them out. The Gormdaughters are numerous in this area, with some hiding in plain sight and others nestled within small caves.
Once the player has enough Gormdaughters in tow (check this by hovering over the Gormlings Lured debuff), they need to head back to the Wrangler. The location to complete the quest is found at 47.01, 28.62, and turnign in the quest will reward players with reputation with The Wild Hunt faction.
World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is available now on PC.
