Not only is Modern Vintage Gamer showing the Xbox Series X ability to successfully emulate titles like God of War, Shadow of the Colossus, and God Hand, but these titles are running exceptionally well, with only a few minor bugs and hiccups. This kind of versatility is going to be a huge selling point for gamers who want to make the most out of their newest console.
The way this works is by the Xbox Series X allowing the installation of RetroArch, which is a cross-platform emulation tool that allows gamers to play their favorite titles without needing their native consoles. With just a few easy steps, not only will Xbox Series X owners be able to enjoy all the great launch titles the Xbox Series X has to offer, but they can also play games from multiple generations. It should be noted that the dev mode is also available on the Xbox One line of consoles as well.
