The end of the year is here, which means that there is just one last Community Day event left to celebrate in Pokemon GO before moving on to 2021. As has become tradition for the last few years, it seems like the December Community Day event will span two days and put the spotlight on more than just one Pokemon.
To celebrate another successful year of Community Day events, despite all of the drama and struggle that 2020 brought, Pokemon GO is going to bring back every Pokemon who was featured in a 2019 or 2020 Community Day for the event. That means increased spawn rates and a chance to catch shiny versions of around 22 Pokemon.
The upcoming event will take place on Saturday, December 12, and Sunday, December 13, 2020 and should be full of special bonuses and features for players to take advantage of throughout the weekend while catching Pokemon and evolving to secure powerful exclusive moves. Some Pokemon will obviously prove to be more popular than others throughout the event, but there should definitely be plenty of motivation to log in and stay engaged throughout the full event.
“As we say goodbye to 2020, let’s take a look back on the Community Days we shared together. This year, our final Community Day event will be held on Saturday, December 12, and Sunday, December 13, 2020. Throughout the event, Pokémon featured in Community Day events throughout 2019 and 2020 will be appearing more frequently in the wild and in raids, so this event will be a great time for you to catch Pokémon featured in any Community Day events you may have missed! Stay tuned for more details soon!”

As trainers continue working through these amazing events and enjoying the GO Beyond update, they may want to keep hunting down the best Unova Pokemon in the game if improving their Battle Raid rosters and completing their Pokedex is their primary goal. Be sure to check back in the near future for more Pokemon GO strategy guides, news, and updates. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!
