Xbox Game Pass Losing These 10 Games for December 2020

Every month sees Xbox Game Pass receive a lineup of brand-new games, and December 2020 is no different. Announced earlier today on the Xbox Store, it appears several huge titles are slated to join the service’s library, with Control primed to debut on Game Pass for Android and consoles while Doom Eternal comes to the PC.

However, some games have to take their leave to accommodate the integration of so many new titles, and this month a significant number of heavy hitters are going. Revealed through a new update, 10 Xbox Game Pass titles will be leaving in two weeks’ time: Untitled Goose Game, eFootball PES 2020, Metro: Last Light Redux, Pathologic 2, MudRunner, Age of Wonders: Planetfall, Infinifactory, Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, The Turing Test, and Ticket to Ride.

The biggest losses of the bunch are likely Untitled Goose Game and eFootball PES 2020. The former was a massive hit upon release, managing to accumulate viral acclaim for its wacky premise, which sees players assume the role of a chaotic goose running amuck in a quiet English town. Game Pass was a great fit for the title, which recently got a co-op mode. PES 2020, on the other hand, is one of the service’s biggest sports games, with the popular soccer title offering an expansive career mode and several other features.

Metro: Last Light Redux is also a major loss. Seeing players explore a post-apocalyptic version of Russia where humans are confined to subway tunnels due to the heavy irradiation, this remaster of the second Metro game offers a story-focused campaign with widely-touted survival elements. Pathologic 2, a surreal cult-classic survival game, will also likely be missed, while terrain-based driving title MudRunner and sci-fi strategy game Age of Wonders: Planetfall also have sizeable fanbases too.

Rounding out the bunch, Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker is sure to be one that fans of the iconic anime series should jump on before it leaves, while The Turing Test, Ticket to Ride, and Infinifactory are all worth a play before they’re taken away as well. As for when these titles will depart, PES 2020 is slated to make its exit on December 11, while the other games will stay on Xbox Game Pass for a few more days, as they are set to leave on December 15. Luckily, most of the titles listed have short-to-medium runtimes, so those wanting to try them out before they’re removed from Game Pass have ample time to do so.
