Twitch Streamer Tfue Could Finally Be Returning to Fortnite for Season 5

Thinking back to the early days, it may once have been hard to imagine Fortnite without Tfue. Their relationship was mutually beneficial, as Tfue got his big break thanks to his exceptional skill and in return was able to draw a lot more traffic to the game. After his sudden departure from the title, fans finally have hope again as it seems he may be making a return.

For those that don’t know, season 5 of Fortnite just began today following the massive Galactus event. As with every season turnover in the game, things are going to start looking a lot different very quickly. Some old things are making a return and there will be loads of new stuff to experience as well. It seems this has drawn the attention of Tfue.

This theory comes directly from Tfue, who stated in no uncertain terms that he’d be streaming the game on December 2nd. The question at hand is whether or not this will be a one and done adventure or if Fortnite might finally make its way back onto Tfue’s streaming schedule after all.

Understandably, fans are really excited to see Tfue return to Fortnite, though they are showing this excitement in unconventional ways. A vast majority of the responses to his tweet are simply one word: “bet.” This indicates a level of skepticism from fans, as many assumed he’d never go back to the game. Regardless, the stream is real and is actually live right now. At the time of writing, it’s resting at a steady 38,000 viewer count.

Again, this isn’t necessarily a confirmation that he’ll return to streaming Fortnite regularly, but it would be nice to see. Tfue recently explained why he quit Fortnite, and his reason was actually quite simple. According to the legendary streamer, two years at one game simply caused him to burn out, and he found that he was no longer having fun playing the game. Whether or not he sticks around this time will likely depend on how much fun he has with season 5, but it would certainly be a boost for both Fortnite and its community if he did.

Interested players should watch Tfue’s stream, as he may open up more about what his plans are for the future. In the event that he doesn’t continue playing, it could be players’ last chance to see him in action live again, as Tfue will likely return to other games like Call of Duty: Warzone if that ends up being the case.

Fortnite is availabe now on Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
